The word “water” occurs 396 times in the King James Bible. Three-hundred and ninety-six breaks down to 66×6 which can also be looked at as 666, which is (according to the bible) the number of a man.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Revelation 13:18 KJV)
There are 66 books in the bible, and adding another six to that, or in essence, adding to the Word of God, is the concept behind the number of the beast. It is adding to God’s DNA. It is another gospel, another tongue, and another spirit. In the bible, water equals the Word, and The Word is Jesus Christ.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (Ephesians 5:25-26 KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1 KJV)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14 KJV)
Likewise, The Word (Jesus Christ) is spirit:
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63 KJV)
For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (1 John 5:7-8 KJV)
Therefore, we have the water (the Word), the spirit (the Holy Ghost), and the blood (Jesus Christ) agreeing in one flesh. Flip that upside down and you get a type of anti-Christ, and symbolically, the number of the beast. You get the number of a man whose DNA is corrupted by another book, another spirit, another gospel, another tongue, and another word. In pop culture, this concept is brought to fruition and exemplified again and again. No matter the genre or decade, the water is a reoccurring theme.
