Actor River Phoenix once said, “I don’t want to die in a car accident. When I die it’ll be a glorious day. It’ll probably be a waterfall.” Early Halloween morning in 1993, River would meet his fate and fulfill his own prophecy. Although the official story declares his death to be the result of a drug overdose, a true Hollywood conspiracy lies just beyond the shadows. Indeed, it’s these shadows that ultimately took his life. Like the boogie man hiding under the bed, or a camouflaged hunter lurking in the trees, River’s assailants remain invisible to the naked eye. They are the hidden handlers, unclean spirits and lesser gods controlling the industry from behind the curtains. They are the possessing spirits responsible for passing victims through the fire, which is exactly how River died. His name alone points to the manner of his death–River, aka, water, and phoenix, aka, the fire bird—but while the name River Phoenix may appear to celebrate the Masonic burning bath, the man behind the name rebelled against Hollywood’s occult ways. By all accounts, River died trying to expose the very secret layered into his own name.
Director William Richert once commented, “it’s almost as if the devil killed River.” As we will see, he was more or less correct. From the numerology of River’s birth and death to the prophetic lyrics of his song Soul Removal, it becomes clear that his death was anything but an accidental overdose. In River, we have indisputable evidence that, number one, the baptism of fire is real, and number two, after passing through the fire victims soon discover their lives imitate their art. Dreams become visions, art becomes reality, and the future becomes a game of signs and clues. In other words, after eating of the fruit they become as gods knowing good and evil via the light from the spirit world. In some cases, they may even discover the outcome of their own fate. River’s fate exposes the biggest occult secret known to mankind, and through decades of song lyrics, album art, photo shoots, movies, and interviews, his story is finally brought to light by the people who loved him the most, and by River himself.
Let there be Light
Before delving too deeply into River’s story we must first understand the concept behind the Masonic light. The motto of the craft is, after all, “let there be light”. This so-called light is often referred to as the news or signs in the Masonic system and is nothing more than messages from the spirit world. These messages can appear anywhere and everywhere. From freeway billboards to songs on the radio, television programs, a stranger’s phone conversation, or even a homeless man on the street, the news is virtually unavoidable. In the world of pop culture, the news is often brought to light through music, advertisements, magazines, movies, etc. Below are just a few examples of the news appearing in film clips, comic books, television programs, and movie posters prior to the 911 attacks on New York’s Twin Towers.

These soft-pedaled harbingers are not the works of some underground cabal of mystery men and women; they are the results of familiar spirits working through the artists, set designers, writers and directors responsible for churning out the material. These spirits are the rulers of the darkness of this world and the spiritual wickedness in high places. The Masonic light or news from the spirit world is a type of predictive programming that becomes apparent only after the prophecy comes to pass. However, those who are well-versed in the hidden language may spot these messages before the predicted event takes place. This concept is further exemplified in Simon and Garfunkel’s hit song The Sound of Silence:
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
And the words that it was forming
And the sign said,
“The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls,
And tenement halls.”
And whispered in the sound of silence
The neon god is most likely a reference to the Masonic light. Throughout the Old Testament signs are given by God via His prophets as a way to let His people know who His prophets are and what the people of Israel can expect from their God. Flip this upside down and you get the workings of the Masonic system where nearly everyone is a prophet and everything is a sign from “God”. Take, for instance, these lyrics from the classic rock group Five Man Electrical Band:
“Sign, sign, everywhere a sign, blockin’ out the scenery, breakin’ my mind, do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign?” (Signs, Five Man Electrical Band)
To victims of the Masonic system, the messages or news from the spirit world can be a maddening experience when viewed on a personal level. Like malware infecting the hard drive of a computer, the “news” infects the victim’s brain and redirects their thoughts. Billboard advertisements or some sort of reoccurring reference to cancer may cause victims to believe they will soon develop the illness. News stories, songs, or conversations about guns may lead victims to believe that, if they don’t comply, they’re likely to be shot. The signs have the potential of being anywhere, anybody, or anything.

Surrealist artist Rene Magritte described his paintings as conceptualizing the hidden vs the visible or “the visible that is hidden”. This is essentially the signs, news and light of the Masonic system. They are hidden in plain view, inescapable yet invisible to the uninitiated; they are the workings of the hidden handlers where the spirit world meets the material world. The light forms the evil net, or the spider web that traps victims in an invisible birdcage. Like rats in a maze, victims are lost in a seemingly normal world that (in their mind’s eye) is anything but normal. Their lives disintegrate into a confusing collage of absurd coincidences, illogical patterns and illusionary phenomena making it nearly impossible to see the forest for the trees.

Just like our daily news stories, this light can either be positive or negative. Nirvana’s video for their song Heart-shaped Box exemplifies this concept by the little girl in a white wizard’s costume turning black, thus the theory of white magic vs black magic. The light is also referred to as LOVE (the seemingly good spirits) while its mirror image EVOL refers to the evil spirits. LOVE also refers to fornication which then leads to EVOL, aka, passing through the fire.

In short, the Masonic light is the workings of other gods. After passing through the fire victims become keenly aware of these other gods and their seemingly prophetic messages. Preceding events, reoccurring dreams, and early works of art suddenly begin to make sense as everything comes together forming a bigger picture, or a perfect circle of life. Fate is suddenly brought to light as the events in a person’s life reveal their true intention. The handwriting on the wall is deciphered, and destiny appears through the dissipating fog of the crystal ball. Through the trappings of the birdcage, victims enter a maze of their own lives where they are likely to discover a pre-determined path. This, my friends, is the Tree of Good and Evil, and it begs the question, are we slaves to our own destiny? In River’s case, the answer is yes.
Life Imitates Art
The events leading up to River’s death form an intriguing timeline of strange and impossible coincidences. Beginning with his movie, Stand By Me, and ending with his unfinished film, Dark Blood, River’s life begins to resemble a neatly-polished Hollywood script. Indeed, the workings of the spirit world and the trappings of fate are painfully evident throughout his short life.
Stand By Me
Released on August 22, 1986 (one day before River’s birthday), the film Stand by Me runs exactly 88 minutes long. A quick Google search for the number 88 produces a long list of references and occurrences. In the film Back to the Future, 88 is the speed that the DeLorean must attain in order to travel in time. There are 88 constellations in the night sky. 88 Minutes is a 2008 film starring Al Pacino. There are 88 keys on a piano (36 black and 52 white). The dead man’s hand in poker is a pair of aces and a pair of 8’s. Neo-Nazi’s use the number 88 as an abbreviation for the Nazi salute Heil Hitler. The letter “H” is eighth in the alphabet, whereby 88 becomes HH. Two genera of butterflies (Diaethria and Callicore) are called Eighty-eights because markings on their wings look like the number 88. It takes approximately 88 days for the planet Mercury to complete its orbit, and finally, NGC 88 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Phoenix. In the Bible, Psalm 88 is a chapter that centers on death and going down into the pit. The word “pit” appears 88 times in the KJ Bible. Clearly, the running time of Stand by Me is significant and can be thought of as one of the first (and last) clues into River’s story.
Based on a short story by Stephen King titled, The Body, Stand by Me depicts four boys in search of the dead body of their schoolmate Ray Brower. They discover him in the woods near Back Harlow road where he was struck by a train picking blueberries. In the Masonic system, trains are symbolic of the time cycle to which victims are subjected with each compartment representing a new branch in the occult Tree of Life. In other words, according to their works (or their art) they will reap what they sow. Fate is ready to be met unless they restart the cycle, go back in time, and change their path. The DeLorean in Back to the Future represents the angelic driver (the chariot or the wheeled cherubim) who passes victims through the fire presumably wiping the slate clean, lest they end up riding the little red caboose. If all of this sounds rather confusing and illogical to you, that’s because it is. REM’s song Carnival of Sorts (Box Cars) is a good example of this concept with references to a reaping wheel and cages under cage:
“There’s a secret stigma reaping wheel. Diminish a carnival of sorts. Chronic town poster torn reaping wheel. Stranger stranger to these parts. Gentlemen don’t get caught cages under cage. Gentlemen don’t get caught. Boxcars (are pulling) out of town. Boxcars (are pulling) out of town.” REM, Carnival of Sorts (Box Cars)
In Ray Brower’s case, he reached the end of the time cycle and became the hanged man. Indeed, he got caught under cages where the fate train knocked him right out of his blue Keds. This concept of the hanged man is featured in the image below when the four boys stumble upon his body. River’s character, Chris Chambers, is the first person to touch the hanged-man’s body as he pokes him with a stick. At the end of the film, Chris Chambers also becomes the hanged man.

The name Chris or Christopher means Christ-bearer or the anointed, thus, River’s character is the anointed hanged man. At the end of the film, Ace and Eyeball Chambers arrive with their gang and attempt to lay claim to finding Ray’s body. Chris disputes the issue and is nearly killed when Ace puts a knife to his throat. He is saved at the last instant when his best friend, Gordie, fires off a gun. Fast forward to the future when the four friends are adults, we find out that Chris is killed while trying to break up a knife fight. To quote the film, “He was stabbed in the throat. He died almost instantly.” So, Chris Chambers (the hanged man) comes around full circle and meets his fate dying from a knife wound. As we will see, River’s life followed the same path.
To understand the concept of the hanged man, one need only to read their Bible. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ follows scripture as He is the Word of God. The cup that he is given, his “fate”, is to die on the Cross for mankind’s sins and to be resurrected three days later. Flip this upside down and you have the workings of the Masonic/Occult system. Victims’ lives follow “the word” aka, their movies, books, music, etc., thus the concept, life imitates art. It is an absolute perversion of the gospel of Christ, turning his repeated phrase, “it is written” into a curse. Of course, none of this becomes possible until victims are passed through the fire, or in the case of Stand By Me, the blue point.
Although subtle and altogether unnoticeable to the untrained eye, the above pictures foreshadow River’s death. The screenshot on the bottom right occurs at the beginning of the film when Chris and Gordie fire off a gun outside of the Blue Point Diner. This can be thought of as the starting gun or the point at which the clock begins its countdown. The boys flee and a waitress runs outside yelling, “Hey, who’s letting cherry bombs off out here?” The cherry bomb is a veiled reference to the baptism of fire, or the blue point that occurs after a sexual experience.
In the next scene the two bullies, Ace and Eyeball, confront Chris and Gordie on the sidewalk outside of a pool hall. Ace knocks Chris to the ground, face first, and holds a cigarette to his face as his friend and brother stand by watching. Chris’ sleeping bag is still draped across his shoulder. Here’s the translation: the pool hall (or bar) equals the Viper Room; Ace (dressed in all black) equals the unclean spirit; the cigarette equals the baptism of fire; and the sleeping bag equals death. River died on the sidewalk outside of the Viper Room surrounded by his friends and family, including his brother. If all of this sounds a bit far-fetched to you, wait. Notice the triangle or the ball rack on the window of the building? This is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. The triangle represents three-strand DNA, or the sons of God mingling themselves with the daughters of men. The window represents the angelic realm, the fourth dimension, or the spirit world. In the picture featured below, spiritual wickedness in high places has never been so obvious.
This shot is from the junkyard scene when the four boys are spitting water into a rusted tin can. River is seated in front of an old blue car with the number 236 painted on it and a splotch of white paint. This is, essentially, the handwriting on the wall or the magic eight ball predicting River’s fate. It is the Masonic light, or the news from the spirit world foretelling the future roughly eight years before it came to pass. The fortune tells the how and when River will ultimately die – from passing through the fire on Halloween of 1993. Let’s break this image down:
The white splotch of paint can be thought of as a planchette, or a Ouija pointer. Ouija boards are, of course, used to communicate with spirits. The planchette points to the number 36 while the clear area of the planchette points to the number 3. To put this as simply as possible (as I am no mathematician), the number 36 represents the fulfillment of River’s fate or coming around full circle. It is also symbolic of the Masonic square and compass. 36 is both the square of 6 and a triangular number, making it a square triangular number. It is the only triangular number (other than 1) whose square root is also a triangular number. It is also a circular number, which is a square number that ends with the same integer by itself (6×6=36), thus, River will come around full circle as the hanged man, Chris Chambers. Also, the sum of the integers from 1 to 36 is 666 — the number of the beast. In other words, River will come full circle and meet his fate on the Devil’s night (Halloween). The number 23 in 236 represents how old he was when he died, and as we will see, the number 236 represents his evolutionary tree.
As stated above, the clear area of the planchette points to the number 3 which represents the triple helix or three-strand DNA. This goes back to Genesis 6 where the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, or the fusion of God with man. Daniel chapter 2 describes the Iron Kingdom (the angelic realm) mingling themselves with the seed of men, i.e., iron mixed with miry clay. The baptism of fire or the Masonic bath is the mixing of these two kingdoms. It’s also how River died.
The Hindu god Shiva with a golden trident symbolizes the triple helix. Notice the water spurting out of he/she’s head and the snake around its neck. The triquetra symbol (seen here on Marilyn Ferguson’s book The Aquarian Conspiracy) is another example of the triple helix. The sub-title “Personal and Social Transformation in Our Time” refers to the triple helix, i.e., transformation. The pyramid on the one-dollar bill also symbolizes 3-strand DNA.
The fleur-de-lis is another symbol representing the triple helix, shown above in the grip of a dragon. Notice the dragon’s triangular tail and tongue as well as its looped tail. The well-known Masonic square and compass symbol represents the merging of God with human, while the Masonic triple tau represents three-strand DNA. The triple tau is placed inside of a triangle (representing fire), and the triangle is encompassed by a circle (the circle of life or “fate”).
The number 236 written on the blue car behind River represents a phylogenetic tree or an evolutionary tree. There are a total of 236 different phylogenetic trees that represent the history of evolutionary divergences among species. A phylogenetic tree is a branching diagram or “tree” showing the evolutionary relationships among various biological species or other entities. It can be thought of as a “tree of life” which arose from ancient notions of a ladder-like progression from lower to higher forms of life. River’s “tree of life” and his biological relationship with other entities (angels) has him dying from the baptism of fire. His evolution through the Masonic system is outlined on the Ouija board behind him — the blue car. The color blue represents a baptism of the spiritual realm (a perverted rebirth), while the car represents the wheeled cherubim (see Ezekiel 1). River is spitting out the water representing the baptism of fire which causes rapid dehydration. As we will later see, his film career mimics his relationship (his biological evolution) with the angelic realm. He will de-evolve, that is, neglect to set the clock back and ultimately die from the baptism of fire. In addition to the reaping wheel of fate, or the wheel of karma, neglecting to “travel back in time” also has its physical ramifications.
To summarize: the blue car = the angelic driver; 236 = River’s tree of life; 23 = the age he died; 3 = the triple helix; 36 = the number of the beast, the square and the compass, and the completion of a life cycle; River spitting out the water represents the baptism of fire.
So, here’s the working theory: The angel mingles itself with the seed of man in a type of sex ritual known as Hierogamy or Holy Marriage. In all the mystic religions (Hinduism, Tantric Buddhism, Wicca, Greek mythology, and even alchemy), hierogamy (or hieros gamos) is a sexual ritual that plays out a marriage between a god and a goddess where human participants represent the deities. It’s also known as sacred prostitution. It’s during this sex ritual that the spirit enters the body and awakens the kundalini fire, or the coiled serpent at the base of the spine. In Eastern mysticism, Kundalini is described as a form of primal energy, or a sleeping god or goddess waiting to be awakened. In the New Testament, Christians know it as the “no good thing” within our flesh.
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.” (Romans 7:18 KJV)
The Kundalini awakening is the baptism of fire, and it’s a concept that dates back to the 3rd century BC. The Sanskrit adjective kundalini means “circular”, while kunda is a noun meaning “bowl, or water pot”. Tantra uses the term kundali meaning “ring, bracelet, or coil of rope”, thus, kundalini is the third strand of DNA, or the third rope embedded within each and every one of us.

The top image depicts the angelic realm (water) mingling with the earthly realm (humans) in a sex ritual known as hieros gamos. The image to the bottom left is an ancient painting unearthed in Xinjiang. It resembles DNA and depicts a male and female intertwined as two serpents. Notice they are holding a square and compass. The last picture is the winged caduceus and is the staff carried by Hermes Trismegistus. It is a short staff (the spinal column) entwined by two serpents (DNA) surmounted by wings (the kundalini awakening i.e., the triple helix). In Roman iconography, it was often depicted being carried in the left hand of Mercury, the messenger of the gods.
When the angel (the Iron Kingdom) mingles itself with the seed of man (DNA), it awakens the Kundalini flame. The sleeping serpent is then uncoiled or unrolled like a scroll of DNA as it travels up the 33 degrees of the spinal cord into the brain. Life begins to imitate art, dreams become visions, and the Masonic light is turned on as everything seems to fall into synch. The kundalini loop is then activated along with the devil’s DNA. The implication here is that we have God’s Book of Life – two-strand DNA and the Bible as The Living Word — versus the Devil’s book of life, which is the triple helix (kundalini) and pop culture/art. The angelic driver is actually a gene driver (or messenger) directing the genetic code of the triple helix. Evol, then, not only represents “love” from the spirit realm, but also evolution by means of the angelic gene driver. By awakening the kundalini flame, a different ladder of DNA begins to take shape.
The above screenshot contains quotes from Marilyn Ferguson’s book The Aquarian Conspiracy. Notice she mentions human biology as being the key to transformation, i.e., the kundalini awakening. She also mentions becoming a new human being through “new patterns of life” as chromosomes are split, essentially, forming a new genetic code. Human metamorphosis, like the butterfly, is accomplished through mingling ourselves with the angelic realm. Just as Jesus forms a new man inside you, so too does the unclean spirit initiate a transformation or evolution into a new man. In River’s case, his transformation began before he ever reached adulthood.
Published in 1995, John Glatt’s book Lost in Hollywood describes how River not only started smoking weed on the set of Stand By Me, but it’s also when he officially lost his virginity. In a chapter titled, River Catches Fire, the author writes, “During the making of the film River was smitten by an eighteen-year-old friend of his parents who offered to initiate him.” As the story goes, his parents set up a “love tent” in the backyard with candles and incense to celebrate the occasion. Stand By Me was, by all accounts, River’s Blue Point. When Will Wheaton’s character, Gordie Lachance, fires off a gun outside of the Blue Point Diner he is, symbolically, the start codon, the starting gun, or the first messenger of an RNA transcript. At the end of the film he once again fires off a gun representing the stop codon, essentially sealing Chris’ (or River’s) fate, thereby, completing the loop.
Notice also that Gordie stands in front of the window with a water canteen draped across his shoulder. He represents the gene flow of River’s evolution. The name “Gordon” means “from the three cornered hill” and “Lachance” equates to fortune, thus, he is the fortune-teller of the new man, or the writer for the gene expression (the transcript) of the triple helix. The film is, after all, told through Gordie’s perspective.
Stand By Me was the devil’s DNA for River, foretold on the old blue car by the unclean spirits themselves. In addition to the numbers located to the left of River, to the right is also a glimpse into the future. Cartoon caricatures appear in the rust and shadows of the blue car depicting three onlookers, a black cat, and a heart being squeezed by a large fist. To the left, above the number 236, we see two strips of paint that resemble a road, or possibly even a sidewalk. It’s almost as if this scene predicts that last night at the Viper Room where River collapsed outside on the sidewalk, surrounded by onlookers as his heart came to a violent stop.
Stand By Me is exactly 88 minutes long, a number that symbolizes the kundalini loop. If the time cycle is not reset by another sex ritual, the serpent eventually retreats back into the pit of the stomach — the word “pit” occurring 88 times in the KJ Bible. It takes approximately 88 days for the planet Mercury to complete its orbit — Mercury being a messenger of the gods who carried the caduceus in his left hand. NGC 88 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Phoenix — in the early morning hours of October 31, 1993, that spiral uncoiled for the last time fulfilling its genetic code.
The Forest for the Trees
Outside the city limits of Castle Rock, the trees are not what they seem and Ray Brower’s blue Ked isn’t the only thing hiding in them. Just like the clues found on the blue car, the forest also displays the fingerprints of the gods. In a 1991 interview with the Village View, River describes his analysis of the movie, My Own Private Idaho, though he may as well have been describing Stand By Me:
“I saw the film [My Own Private Idaho] for the eighth time last night. The finished version. And on the eighth time, I finally got everything. I got everything about it. The editing … everything. The sound cues, every bit. I felt like I was God. I was a psychic. I knew it well enough to be just one step ahead and take in all this stuff I hadn’t seen before. You know how you know a picture well enough? It was a great feeling. I felt like I was creating a movie just by watching it. It was like a science experiment, a hands-on project. We talked about that, Gus. This thing [the movie] has a lot of lives … um, layers? [River laughs.] Words like that sound so lame. But, it’s really textured. The lighting smells.”
By 1991, it became apparent that River was well aware of the prophetic signs layered into his own movies. His quote “the lighting smells” no doubt refers to the light of the spirit world. In the below photos, this light appears like graffiti on the trees, an altogether chilling glimpse into the handiwork of the spirits. The images have been enhanced to about 200% and the brightness has been adjusted, other than that, they have not been doctored.

Like seeing shapes in the clouds, the pictures featured below reveal faces within faces as well as cartoon caricatures. The images morph in and out of one another forming a variety of characters, none of which look happy.
On the far left tree we see a skunk that resembles Flower from Disney’s classic film Bambi. Next to the skunk’s head is a heart. The tree to the right holds a number of images and faces. From top to bottom, we see the profile of a face, a child who looks to be holding their hands up to their face with a blue mask covering their eyes, a mouse, a wide-eyed face without a mouth, and another distressed face at the bottom with their right eye missing.
The third tree in the picture is perhaps the most disturbing. A demonic or trollish looking face is seen with a white dot covering its smiling mouth. Directly below it, a boy’s face is seen with his right eye missing and the same white dot covering his mouth. The implication is that the unclean spirit, the gene driver, has taken over the boy’s “tree of life”. The faces with their right eye missing symbolize the Masonic light or the “news” that plagues victims’ lives. As the left brain is responsible for logic, recognizing patterns, and mathematical skills, the left eye is then symbolic of the coincidences and synchronicities that make it nearly impossible to see the bigger picture. Indeed, victims are unable to see the forest for the trees, and to try and explain their dilemma, well, only translates as babble.
The picture to the right is the same tree pictured on the first photo. It provides a better view of the distressed face of a boy, his round mouth morphing into another boy’s figure. Notice the heart in the center of his chest symbolizing that both his heart and soul have been hijacked.
The image featured above is a blown-up version of the demonic looking face as well as the boy missing his right eye. The demonic face with the glowing eyes is, perhaps, a self-portrait of one of the unclean spirits. The light covering both the mouth of the boy and the smiling face symbolizes the whisperings of these familiar spirits that appear to manifest themselves through other people. Indeed, it’s as if everyone’s conversations are in some way linked to the victim’s unexplainable predicament.
To the right is a picture of pyramidal neurons located in the brain. A neuron is an electrically excitable cell that processes and transmits information through electrical and chemical signals. They are the core components of the brain, the spinal cord, and the central nervous system. They also resemble trees. As we will later see, the sex ritual known as hieros gamos is essentially how the unclean spirits physically hijack a victim’s brain, thereby, transforming the body. Like the sparking of a forest fire, the pyramidal neurons are turned on and taken over by an unseen bolt of lightning.
The above image is a promotional shot from Stand By Me, and is more news from the spirit world of how River will die. Notice the image to River’s left resembles a reptilian looking face that is half white and half dark. This symbolizes the fusion of two opposites (hieros gamos), or the angelic realm mingling themselves with the earthly realm. Much like the faces in the trees, the left eye (the dark side) is open while the right eye (the white side) is closed. A small white cross is seen on the blue piece of metal to the right of his shoulder symbolizing that he is the hanged man. Like the white crosses placed on roadsides and highways marking the site of a fatal car accident, this white cross symbolizes River’s fatal water fall.
We see the white cross again in a promotional photo for the film The Crow. Actor Brandon Lee died on the set of the film by a defective blank that shot him in the abdomen. It’s almost as if the “X” across his stomach is marking the spot where he was shot. The Crow was released on May 13, 1994. It tells the story of a rock musician, played by Lee, who is revived from the dead to avenge his own death as well as the rape and murder of his fiancée. The two murders happened on October 30th (The Devil’s Night) with Lee dying outside on the street after having been thrown out of a window – perhaps an intended parallel to River’s death outside of the Viper Room.
What’s in a Name?
Throughout his film career, River’s life imitated his art. We see a pattern emerge in the names of the characters he played as well as the movie titles themselves. A continuing theme of merging and separating from the angelic realm lays out his biological evolution in the Masonic system. From his first movie Explorers to his last movie Dark Blood, the completion of the kundalini loop becomes painfully evident.
In 1985, River starred in his first theatrical film, Explorers, playing the nerdy character Wolfgang Muller. The name Wolfgang in German means “Wolf Path” since “gang” means journey or path. The German world Muller means “as a profession”, thus, Explorers marked River’s dog path as an actor. Dogs are symbolic of the lesser gods and unclean spirits, i.e., the mirror image of god/dog. A year later in 1986, River is initiated and officially catches fire while filming Stand By Me. His dog (or so-called spirit guide) then provides the writing on the wall (the old blue car). Stand By Me marked River’s first fusion with the angelic realm and the awakening of the kundalini flame.
River starred in The Mosquito Coast in 1986 as Charlie Fox. Charlie or Charles is derived from the German word meaning “free man”, thus, River was no longer fused with the dog/god. Fox is another dog reference reinforcing the theory that River was free from the dog. He would appear to evolve again in 1988 when he starred in A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon as Jimmy Reardon. “Jimmy”, a diminutive of James, means “Supplanter”. The definition of supplanter is something or someone who wrongfully takes the place of another. “Reardon” is of Medieval Irish origin and means Royal Bard. A bard is a poet, story-teller, music composer, etc., thus, Jimmy Reardon means someone or something that wrongfully takes the place of an artist. The film centers around Jimmy Reardon’s sexual exploits and is yet another clue into River’s biological evolution.
River also starred as Jeff Grant in the film Little Nikita in 1988. Jeff or Jeffery means “God’s peace or peaceful pledge”. Grant means to agree, give, or allow, thus, a peaceful pledge to allow something, perhaps a sign urging River to allow his fire to be rekindled by “God”. The driver’s license pictured below is from the film and is yet another clue, or more news from the spirit world.
Words and phrases like “Fountain Grove”, “Mission Avenue”, and the number “33427” all count as news or signs in the Masonic system. Fountain = water, and grove = forest, thus, “Fountain Grove” equates to being lost in the woods after another sex ritual. He is on a mission to allow himself to be regenerated before his license expires, or before he reaches the end of his time loop. 33 is a Masonic number representing the angelic realm as well as the 33 bones in the spinal column where the kundalini flame travels. The number 27 is often representative of death in the world of pop culture (like the 27 club), and four is a number representing the Fourth Kingdom (the Iron Kingdom) and the spirit realm. A study of the number four in the King James Bible brings this revelation to light, for example, Ephesians 6:12 lists four things that we wrestle against: principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. In his book, Morals and Dogma, 33rd degree Freemason Albert Pike describes the number four as a spiritual number representing a god:
“Four was a divine number; it referred to the Deity, and many Ancient Nations gave God a name of four letters;” (Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma, pg. 634)
Thus, the number 33427 could translate as a warning from the Masons/spirit world: rekindle the fire (33), and reconnect with a god (4) before you become the hanged man (27).
The EO appearing before the number 33427 perhaps stands for Equal Opportunity. The fact that his driver’s license expires in 1990 most likely symbolizes the end of his time cycle before the kundalini flame retreats back into the pit.
“I welcome an end to this all if that’s what should be, I don’t mind that. In fact, I would rather quit while I was ahead. There’s no need in overstaying your welcome.” (River Phoenix, 1988)
River played Danny Pope in 1988’s Running on Empty. Danny or Daniel means God has judged. “Pope” refers to the leader of the Catholic Church, the Vatican, and perhaps most importantly, a vow of celibacy. Thus, “God” or the dog/god has judged the “Pope” (River) who is running on empty. River was nominated for an Oscar for his role as Danny Pope, but judging by the pictures below, was less than enthusiastic about attending the ceremonies.

In 1989, River played the young Indiana in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Indiana means “land of the Indians”. In the Masonic system, Indians refer to rebels or outsiders who refuse to play by the rules and are, therefore, in the red. Jones means son of John. River’s dad’s name is John. Thus, the son of John is a rebellious Indian in his last crusade or battle. The Crusades was a series of religious wars which is exactly what was happening in River’s life. In the pictures featured below (both from circa 1989), River displays two key Masonic hand signs – the square and the compass.
River filmed I Love You to Death in 1990 playing the character, Devo Nod. The name Devo is of English origin meaning de-evolution. Synonyms for the word “nod” include signal, cue, sign or indication. Thus, River was on the decline or de-evolving, presumably having failed to re-connect with the angelic realm. The title of the movie suggests that “love” will eventually lead to his death.

Quick Note on the Masonic Hidden Hand:
The Masonic Hidden Hand is a gesture taken straight from the Bible. In Malcom C. Duncan’s book, Duncan’s Masonic Ritual and Monitor, he describes the ritual as follows:
“Three Most Excellent Masters you must have been, or thus far you could not have come; but farther you cannot go without my words, sign, and word of exhortation. My words are Shem, Japhet, and Adoniram; my sign is this: (thrusting his hand in his bosom); it is in imitation of one given by God to Moses, when He commanded him to thrust his hand into his bosom, and, taking it out, it became as leprous as snow. My word of exhortation is explanatory of this sign, and is found in the writings of Moses, viz., fourth chapter of Exodus.”
Just as Moses was under God’s rule, the freemasons are under the control of a different god through fornication. Moses’ leprous white hand is instantly healed by God, given as a sign that he truly is under God’s command. Flip that upside down and you have the freemason’s use of the hidden hand – an admission to having leprosy which is a picture of sin and spiritual affliction in the Bible. In the above picture, River’s use of the “hidden” hand (where he’s arriving at the movie premier) implies that he was not leprous at that time.

R.E.M released their album Out of Time in 1990, a title that coincides with River’s driver’s license from Little Nikita. Lead singer and lyricist, Michael Stipe, had formed a close friendship with River, and a song on the album seems to validate that perhaps the album’s title was inspired by River’s rebellion. The song, Belong, eerily foretells of River’s death when he collapsed early Sunday morning outside of the Viper Room. The lyrics refer to a woman who gets up from the kitchen table, folds the newspaper, and silences the radio. In other words, she sees the signs and news from the spirit world, i.e., the Masonic light.

The implication here is that River, along with his friends and family, knew about his pre-determined fate via the news from the spirit world. The barricades mentioned in the song are possibly a reference to turning back the clock and resetting the genetic code of fate, the creatures perhaps a reference to three-strand DNA (or cells), and the sea a reference to the human body which is about 60% water. Salt makes up around .4% of the body’s weight at a concentration pretty well equivalent to that in seawater, thus, the creatures are heading for the sea. In other words, the translation of the angelic driver’s version of DNA.
(The magazine cover displays more Masonic Light with the article’s title, In Deep. The deeper meaning is that River was in deep water, or more accurately, in danger of meeting his so-called fate.)
In a system ruled by debauchery and perversion, River fell short when it came to belonging. He once remarked that he lost his virginity at the age of four in a 1991 issue of Details magazine. When asked if there was anything he did at an early age that he wished he’d waited to do, he answered, “yes—make love.” He then went on to explain that he’d since blocked it out. The comment was later reported as a joke. Since the days of sexual abuse he allegedly suffered at the hands of the religious cult, The Children of God, River’s life truly did come full circle. Faced with the ever-increasing pressure (or the sexual blackmail) of reuniting himself with the angelic realm, River was looking less and less likely to belong.
He filmed Dogfight in 1991 starring as Eddie Birdlace. Eddie or Edward meaning rich in friendship, and bird symbolizing spirits/angels. Lace, of course, is a delicate fabric spun into a web-like pattern, thus, River is stuck in a web spun by the spirits, and he and his friends are fighting the dogs (spirits).
1991 is also the year he portrayed the character, Mike Waters, in Gus Van Sant’s film My Own Private Idaho. Mike or Michael means “who is like God?” The last name “Waters” refers to the spirit realm as well as the kundalini flame. The name “Mike Waters” is, therefore, symbolic of the angelic realm mingling themselves with the seed of men. River plays a male prostitute in the film which is also symbolic of the sex ritual, hieros gamos, or sacred prostitution. After each sexual encounter River’s character passes out due to a condition known as narcolepsy, a neurological disorder that affects the sleep-wake cycles and also causes seizure-like episodes. As we will see, the kundalini flame triggers these same symptoms as it travels into the pineal gland. The pineal gland, by way of circadian rhythms (biological clocks) is responsible for controlling sleep-wake cycles. The rhythms are actually entrainable (coming into sync with something) and can be reset by exposure to external stimuli, i.e., light, heat, or in this case, the angelic driver (literally, lightning). The external stimulus used to entrain a rhythm is called the Zeitgeber, literally meaning “time giver”. Once the kundalini flame is lit, victims become physically entrained with the angelic driver who becomes, in a sense, their god (the time-giver or the light). Their physical body becomes entrained with the Zeitgeber as the whole world seems to suddenly fall into sync.
The word “Idaho” is derived from a Shoshone language and is a term meaning “the sun comes from the mountains”. The name of the film, then, could translate as My Own Private Light or My Own Private God. Also, if we liken mountains to the human brain, the “sun” or “light” actually comes from the brain or more to the point, the pyramidal neurons. The name “Mike Waters” implies, then, that humans are like gods after mingling themselves with the angelic realm. They become their own private light, thus, the serpent’s lie in the garden “your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods”.

Water shoots out of a cat’s mouth to the side of the engraving. More symbolism of the kundalini flame sparked by a sex ritual. Cats generally symbolize some type of fornication.
By the time River filmed My Own Private Idaho he was well aware of his pre-determined death. It’s safe to assume that he knew the how, when, and where of it. Though the Viper Room didn’t exist yet, it becomes apparent in his music (which we’ll examine later) that he knew he would collapse outside in Los Angeles somewhere. It’s difficult to say how much control he had over his character in My Own Private Idaho, but two scenes in particular bring into question how much was planned and how much turned out to be a “coincidence”. In other words, who was doing the driving, River or “the light”?
In the scene above, River watches a Halloween episode of The Simpsons where Homer gets abducted by aliens. Notice the glass window in the background along with the number 4 on his sleeve. The alien abduction (or the mother ship) is symbolic of the angelic driver taking over the wheel and ultimately killing River. Windows are symbolic of the spirit realm along with the number four as mentioned earlier. The fact that he’s watching television signifies the predictive programming (the news and signs) associated with the Masonic Light. Like the pop culture examples that predicted the 911 attacks on the Twin Towers, the above screenshot also exemplifies this concept.
The film’s final scene is perhaps the most disturbing and depicts River’s character having a narcoleptic fit on the side of the road. A truck stops while he’s unconscious and steals his bag along with his shoes. This scene, as many people have pointed out, is eerily reminiscent of how River died outside of the Viper Room. The truck in the film can be thought of as the angelic driver taking, not his belongings, but his life. Notice also that he’s wearing a blue shirt with a gold/yellow collar – gold is symbolic of the completion of the kundalini loop, hence, the gold ring of the sacred marriage.
The photo shoot featured above seems to tell a story. In the first photo, he displays the hidden hand with his right hand and forms a right angle with his left hand while covering his left eye. This could be an indication that he was able to see the bigger picture, no longer lost in a chaotic maze of signs and news. The hidden hand and right angle are, of course, Masonic symbols. In the second photo, he pulls his hand from his coat, removes the other hand from his eye, and positions his elbow in a downward right angle. The reversal of the right angle perhaps signifies the completion of a loop, thus, his ability to see the bigger picture. In the third photo, River looks away from the camera and places his right hand over his heart, perhaps signifying that staying out of the light (that is, the news from the spirit world captured through the lens of a camera) preserves the heart and soul.
“I believe very much in the Native American Indians, who really owned this land beforehand, and their idea was that a photo could take your soul.” (River Phoenix, 1991)
The two pictures featured below are something unofficially known as the Rolling Throne Story. Here, we have two initiates displaying the hidden hand, one of whom died at the other one’s night club exactly two years later. Both pictures are from Rolling Stone magazine circa 1991. Johnny Depp appeared on the front cover for the January 10 issue, while River appeared on an inside spread for the issue dated October 31st. Both are dressed in similar garbs, Johnny in blue and River in red.
River’s red coat signifies his failure to belong as well as the cooling of a fire. While a blue flame indicates an extremely hot fire, a red flame is much cooler and indicates a dying fire. Notice that the wording in the top left corner of the photo (with his name in red) also conforms to this theory: “River Phoenix plays it cool, on and off the screen.” The color red also symbolizes blood, danger and death. Johnny is dressed in blue which implies that he reignited the kundalini flame. The words “Let it Flow” pasted across River’s photo are also highly significant. Keeping in mind that the image appeared in an issue dated October 31, let’s dissect the layered symbolism.
The long exaggerated “F” in “flow” forms an “X” down River’s body. “F” stands for fire as well as fortune and represents the kundalini flame sparked by the sacred marriage, or the mingling of angels with humans. The lettering is gold which is a color representing lightning, electricity, and also the gold ring of the sacred marriage. The gold ring also symbolizes the completion of the kundalini loop and the completion of a life cycle. To summarize, the kundalini snake will rise up out of the pit, travel up the spine, and fulfill prophecy by attacking River’s heart. The gold ring (or loop of fate) is then completed on Halloween morning. The word “flow” indicates the flow of electricity throughout River’s body or the spiritual flow of water. Notice also that the “X” is placed across his abdomen much like Brandon Lee’s photo. Indeed, “X” marks the spot where the serpent (the Viper) will rise up out of the pit for the last time. The letter “X” also represents one of two sex-determining chromosomes found in each cell.
R.E.M.’s album art for Automatic for the People displays an iron star. In Daniel chapter 2 it is prophesized that the Iron Kingdom (the angelic realm) shall mingle themselves with the seed of men. The symbolism implies that what’s going on in the entertainment industry shall befall the rest of mankind — Automatic for the People, i.e., angelic drivers for the masses. The photo to the right is featured in the album’s booklet and depicts Michael Stipe shoulder deep in the ocean.
R.E.M. released their eighth studio album, Automatic for the People, in October of 1992. Many of the songs deal with themes of loss and mourning, but the song titled Monty Got a Raw Deal is of particular interest. No doubt written for River, the lyrics paint the same picture that has been discussed thus far and that is, quite frankly, River got a raw deal.
The lyrics begin with the line, “Monty this seems strange to me, the movies have that movie thing,” most likely referring to the signs and news found in River’s movies as well as his life imitating his art. The song also mentions a “welcome ring” when Stipe sings “nonsense has a welcome ring and heroes don’t come easy”, possibly referring to the time cycle, or more accurately, restarting the clock before reaching the little red caboose. The stop codon for RNA is also called a nonsense codon which causes the termination of translation. We have another reference to time when Stipe sings, “but virtue isn’t everything, so don’t waste time”. The word “virtue” meaning “of high moral standards” which points to River’s apparent refusal to reconnect with the angelic realm.
The song also mentions “Mischief”, and is used as a proper noun as in the line “Mischief threw a rotten deal, Monty’s laying low,” a possible reference to the spirits as well as those people (though they remain well hidden) responsible for conjuring them. The second use of the word “nonsense” in the song (Now, nonsense isn’t new to me, I know my head I know my feet) might also refer to the apparent amnesia victims suffer if they lose consciousness from the kundalini fire. Stipe makes reference to the hanged man when he sings, “I saw you strung up in a tree,” and later, Indian-themed music dictates the chorus as he warns, “You don’t want this sympathy, don’t you waste your breath for the silver screen.” We also hear the phrase, “I saw the ocean meet the man, I saw you buried in the sand,” once again indicating that River wasn’t playing by the rules. The lyrics also make the statement that, “heroes don’t come easy” which is an accurate account, but true heroes live and die in the pursuit of liberty.
By 1992, River did show signs of being somewhat in fear for his life, or at the very least, not wanting to be alone. He seemed to bounce around from one friend’s house to the next, reportedly staying with Flea (from the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Dan Aykroyd, and William Richert while filming Sneakers. During the filming of Silent Tongue, he spent most of his time in Richard Harris’ trailer instead of his own. “He’d knock at my door, ask if he could come in sleep,” Harris once recalled. His career also seemed to take a hit.
River played a bit role in Sneakers starring as a computer geek named Carl Arbogast. Carl Arbogast was actually a real person who was known for the self-titled Arbogast Method used in silviculture. Silviculture is the practice of controlling the growth of forests, and Arbogast was known for his method of selection cutting, which is the practice of harvesting trees. In other words, River’s “Tree of Life” was about to be selected for cutting and harvesting. Another interesting point to mention is the anagram in the movie “Setec Astronomy” which is translated by the team of computers hacks to “Too Many Secrets”. “Setec Astronomy” seems to be another veiled reference to the Masonic system with “Setec” translating to sea technology. The word technology literally means “science of craft”, thus, the craft of water or more accurately, the craft of spirits. Astronomy, of course, refers to the study of the stars. The Masonic system, as everybody knows, has too many secrets. As we will later see, River’s own name also contains a prophetic anagram. The name of the film, Sneakers, also fits the theory that River was no longer under the control of an angelic driver.
In the spring of 1992, he filmed the low-budget movie, Silent Tongue, starring alongside Richard Harris as Talbot Roe. The definition for the word “Talbot” is an extinct dog of a light-colored breed. Roe is, well, fish eggs. The name implies that River’s dog/god, or his angelic driver, was a thing of the past and he had de-evolved. Indeed, much like Darwin’s fish, River’s de-evolution took him all the way back to birth. In a cruel twist of fate, Silent Tongue wasn’t released until 1994 after River’s death. River, as it were, became the extinct light-colored dog whose tongue was forever silenced, but as the movie poster states, justice can never be silenced.
“The joke’s on the masses that are on their hands and knees before the cross and before the flag, because they’re crossing lines, this whole New World Order I think is, is real, a real terrible idea.” (River Phoenix, 1993)
By 1993, River became more outspoken regarding his political views. The above quote seems to agree with the idea that what’s going on in the entertainment industry will someday befall mankind. People’s religious views (especially Christians) will be put to the test when their sins of fornication will have them walking in the same shoes. One could theorize that the kundalini awakening will be the catalyst for a New World Order. The lines being crossed are not only geographical, but also genetic.
“A new administration is just an administration. To get there, you have to go down on the devil a few times along the way.” (River Phoenix, 1993)
Indeed, politicians (republicans and democrats alike) are well aware of the spiritual initiation needed to climb the ladder of success. Conspiracy theorists who rant and rave about government mind control and their immunity to such tactics are not telling you the whole truth.
The Widow’s Son
River starred as a struggling country singer named James Wright in his last completed film, The Thing Called Love. As mentioned previously, the name “James” means supplanter which is something or someone who wrongfully takes the place of another. The last name “Wright” means maker or builder, or in River’s case, an architect. Perhaps the most well-known Masonic ritual is the one concerning Hiram Abiff, the murdered architect also known as The Widow’s Son. In freemasonry, Hiram is presented as the chief architect of King Solomon’s Temple. He is then murdered in that Temple by three ruffians who attempt to force him to divulge Masonic secrets. The themes of the allegory are the importance of fidelity, and the certainty of death. As we will see, River was Hiram Abiff, killed in a ritualistic murder by unseen hands.
Published in 1919, The Story of Hiram Abiff, by William Harvey, J.P., F.S.A., (Scot.) -Provincial Grand Master of Forfarshire, describes Hiram as a descendent of Cain who worked with metals. According to the Masonic allegory, Hiram was loved by few and hated by many, including King Solomon. Jealous of the queen’s affection toward Hiram, Solomon “set himself to destroy this affection, and to prepare his rival’s humiliation and ruin.” He employed three fellow-crafts to sabotage Hiram’s metal works, “projecting that the casting of the brazen sea, which was to raise the glory of Hiram its utmost height, should turn out a failure. The day for the casting arrived and the Queen Sheba was present. The doors that restrained the molten metal were opened, and torrents of liquid fire poured into the cast mold wherein the brazen sea was to assume its form. But the burning mass flowed like lava over the adjacent aces. The terrified crowd fled from the advancing stream of fire, while Hiram, calm, like a god, endeavored to arrest its advance with ponderous columns of water, but without success.”
This allegory is essentially what happened to River Halloween morning. The doors that restrained the molten metal can be thought of as cell membranes, the molten metal as proteins, and the cast mold as the human body (clay). The doors that restrained the molten metal were opened, i.e., hijacked by the angelic gene driver. Just like R.E.M.’s song Belong, “those creatures jumped the barricades and are heading for the sea”. Hiram stood calm, calm, he stood calm like a god with ponderous columns of water, but without success. When awakening or rekindling the kundalini flame, rapid and chronic dehydration occurs, and water, though craved, seems to magnify the experience. The allegory continues as follows:
“Hiram then hears a strange voice coming from above and he beheld a gigantic human figure. The apparition continued, ‘Come, my son, be without fear, I have rendered thee incombustible, cast thyself into the flames.’ Hiram then threw himself into the furnace, and where others would have found death, he tasted ineffable delights nor could he, drawn by an irresistible force, leave it, and asked him that drew him into the abyss, ‘who art thou?’ ‘I am the father of thy fathers,’ was the answer, ‘I am Tubal-Cain.’ Tubal-Cain introduced Hiram into the sanctuary of fire, and into the presence of Cain, the author of his race. [When Hiram is returned to earth he is given a hammer to which Tubal-Cain explains], ‘Thanks to this hammer and the help of the genie fire, thou shalt speedily accomplish the work left unfinished through man’s stupidity and malignity.’”
And so, the Masons carry on today finishing the work of the giants by mingling themselves with the angelic realm thereby awakening the kundalini flame, the genie fire, or the triple helix. According to the allegory, when Hiram Abiff is returned to earth, Solomon, out of jealousy, ordered his three ruffians to murder him. He is then resurrected seven days later. It’s important to note that, according to the Bible, Jesus is of the bloodline of Solomon while Hiram Abiff (according to the Masonic allegory) is of the bloodline of the giants, which they imply is of Cain. As we will later see, this may not be to far-removed from the truth.
River’s character in The Thing Called Love, James (the supplanter) Wright (the architect), is a talented yet unlikeable character much like Hiram Abiff. The name also implies that River was once again reunited with the angelic driver and would soon experience the genie fire for the last time. River developed a romantic relationship with actress Samantha Mathis while on the set of the film. One can only assume that the thing called love (or evol) ultimately led to his demise.
Before cutting his hair short for the movie Dark Blood, River appeared in his last photo shoot with photographer Michael Tighe. In the top left corner, we see a depiction of The Eye of Horus with the reflection on the floor completing the bottom of the eye. Funerary amulets were often made in the shape of the Eye of Horus. Horus was the divine son of Osiris and Isis. To the right, we see what could be construed as the letter M for Mason as he crouches down on the front cover for Detour magazine. The black and white images are also symbolic of the fusing of two opposites. Two months after the photo shoot, River’s life would take its last Detour.
As if preparing to die, River signed his last will and testament as well as a Power of Attorney in February of 1993. A few months later in June of 93’, he changed his last name on his birth certificate from Bottom to Phoenix, perhaps hopeful that the name “River Phoenix” held more promise than “River Bottom”. A phoenix, after all, rises from its ashes, but the last name “Bottom” seemed to strengthen the kundalini curse. He celebrated his 23 birthday on August 23rd, 1993. August is also the month that the Viper Room celebrated its grand opening on 8852 Sunset Blvd — 8+8+5+2=23. River has a total of 23 film and television credits, and to add fuel to the genetic fire, each parent contributes 23 of the human body’s 46 chromosomes.
The photos featured below are a continuation of the Detour photo shoot. River, dressed in all black, poses as the hanged man. If we needed any more proof that he knew the outcome of his fate, these two pictures seal the deal.
River not only mimics the hanged man tarot card, but also the devil. The prophecy foretold on the blue car in Stand By Me will soon come to pass.
Before leaving for the Utah desert to film Dark Blood, River visited his father in Costa Rica who reportedly begged him to quit the movie industry. Although River is said to have agreed, he was already signed on to play the interviewer in Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire. He died four weeks before filming was to begin and the role went to Christian Slater. The film has a dedication to River after the end credits. Despite all the foreboding signs, River appeared to maintain a ray of hope.

In early September, River flew out to the Utah desert to begin shooting Dark Blood. The film, as we will see, completes River’s kundalini loop and takes him all the way back to where it all started – Stand By Me. Even his acting style is reminiscent of his role as Chris Chambers, his mannerisms and facial expressions conveying a sort of dark innocence. Throughout the film his character is simply referred to as “Boy”, a young widower (think the Widow’s Son) who lives alone in the desert waiting for the world to end. He rescues a Hollywood couple, Harry and Buffy, when their Bentley breaks down and are in dire need of water. Things quickly turn sour between the trio, and in the end, Harry kills Boy with an ax to the head.
The parallels to River’s life are as follows: The desert represents a lack of water, i.e., an angelic driver. River seemed to spend his entire career running from Hollywood’s water, and refusing to be reunited with the spirit realm. Boy owns a black dog in the film who follows him around like a shadow. Directly under the dog’s bed, Boy hangs up pornographic pictures of women (one of which is Buffy) signifying that the dog is actually a spirit. Boy later has sexual relations with Buffy, and soon after, he and his dog are both killed by Harry. The film ends with Boy’s house set on fire and the Hollywood couple driving away. Assuming that River and Samantha were romantically involved, he was once again reunited with the “dog” and died Halloween morning from rekindling the kundalini flame. Indeed, his house was set on fire by the dog/god.
The character named Harry brings us full circle to the Back Harlow Road in Stand By Me. Harry is the one who kills Boy in Dark Blood, and in Stand By Me, the body of Ray Brower is found off the Back Harlow Road. Bringing these two names together, a quick Google search for “Harry Harlow” pulls up a psychologist (a very cruel one at that) who was born on October 31, 1905. The years between 1905 and 1993 are a total of 88. Therefore, “Harry Harlow” brings us back to Stand By Me and completes the kundalini loop. The name “Harlow” means “meadow of the hares”, thus, Stand By Me was the white rabbit that led River down the hole (down the Back Harlow Road) and towards his “fate”. In Dark Blood, Harry can be thought of as the white rabbit. Throughout the film, he complains about needing to be somewhere, he’s always in a hurry to leave, and he’s constantly looking at his watch. In one scene, he even says, “What is this, a riddle? Alice in Wonderland?” And in another scene, he attempts to steal Boy’s car keys that are adorned with a rabbit’s foot.
When Harry goes out hunting with Boy, he tells him that he’s a pretty good shot, especially at “the art of bunny” to which Boy replies, “Yeah, bunny, I like that.” In the same scene he later tells Boy, “I guess you’ll learn the deepest wounds are self-inflicted.” The deeper meaning here is that it’s Alice’s fault for chasing the white rabbit to begin with. In River’s case, it would imply that he set himself on fire. Harry, in the picture above, carries a gold cigarette case which signifies that the white rabbit is in fact the golden loop sparked by the kundalini flame. Indeed, all those signs and clues, the news and the light – those are essentially the white rabbit. It is psychological harassment and a three-course meal of indescribable mind play. Harry is the white rabbit who kills River in the end. He is the train that knocked Ray Brower right out of his blue Keds.
As Harry and Buffy drive away from the scene of the crime, we see a gold watch placed on the sun visor above Harry’s head. The white rabbit (the Playboy Bunny) is in the rear-view mirror signifying that the loop is complete.
River’s character even resembles Ray Brower, both wearing plaid shirts with their hair cut short and a head wound on the right side of their temple – much like the Widow’s Son. After jumping into the molten sea (the kundalini flame), Hiram Abiff is told by Tubal-Cain to finish building Solomon’s Temple. He is then killed in that Temple by a blow to the head. The allegory then implies that he is the architect of his own fate for if he hadn’t finished building the temple, perhaps he would not have made Solomon jealous, and therefore would not have been killed by the three ruffians. The Temple can be thought of as, not only a human body, but also a body of work. It’s also worth noting that Stand By Me and Dark Blood are the only two films in which River’s character dies. His short black hair even comes to a widow’s peak in Dark Blood, and come Halloween morning, the three ruffians (the triple helix) attack him in his own temple.
During one scene in the film, Boy takes Buffy and Harry to a cave that he’s turned into a fallout shelter. Decorated with a pyramid of kachina dolls (spirit beings) that Boy refers to as his friends, the cave also contains books on shelves that are bound with rope and illuminated by white candles. Each book contains its own shelf and candle. The books symbolize the building of his temple, and the rope symbolizes the completion of each chapter, like the box cars of a train, or bricks in a wall; the illuminated books symbolize the golden chain of the kundalini loop.
The book titles are also quite telling. In the top left we see one titled “Judas”, another one about psychology, and below that is a book titled “Sexercises”. Another book reads “Water Music” and next to that one we have “Jazz”. Jazz music, along with Blues and Rock-n-Roll is famous for using the triton, also known as the devil’s interval, which contains three adjacent whole tones. In the screenshots below, a book titled “Lessons in Truth” appears with a big red arrow, and below that, “Living with Chronic Illness”. The last book shown in the sequence contains an image of a man that bears quite a resemblance to Boy. The candle burns green, or emerald, signifying it’s the end of the yellow brick road, or the completion of the kundalini loop. Notice also the circle around the man’s head.
From “Judas” (the defector) to “Sexercises” (the sacred marriage) to “Water Music” (the signs and news) to “Jazz” (the triple helix) to “Lessons in Truth” (the end of the road), the books tell the story of a life ruled by the Masonic system – a psychological minefield with physical ramifications.
“Somebody is going to die on this film.” (River Phoenix, 1993)
During the filming of Dark Blood, River reportedly made the comment that someone was going to die on the film, though this was thought to be in reference to the extreme weather conditions they were battling. River also continued writing music while in Utah and would fax the lyrics over to his studio. Recording Engineer, Mark Pinske, commented, “It was the scariest thing. The lyrics were in his own writing and they were about death and passing over to the other side. I think he was trying to give someone a message.” Along with his art imitating his life, River’s dreams also became a reality. In John Glatt’s book, Lost in Hollywood, Abby Rude (a friend of the family) tells of a conversation he had with River’s mother, explaining, “His mom told me that when River was a little boy he used to wake up in the middle of the night and run to her, saying, ‘They’re trying to take me away. They want me back.’ And she’d say ‘It’s okay. They’re good angels. They won’t hurt you.’”
River appeared to spend the majority of his career running from these angels. On the last day of filming on Saturday, October 30, the light from the spirit world illuminated River’s fate for the last time. When the director yelled “wrap”, Cameraman Ed Lachman reportedly forgot to shut off the camera. “For ten seconds River was in front of the camera,” said Lachman. “Just a silhouette lit by ambient light.” After seeing the footage, Director George Sluizer also commented, “It was creepy. You could see River walking away into the darkness for maybe a whole minute before he finally disappeared.” A few hours later, shortly after arriving at the Viper Room, life would imitate art one last time as River stumbled outside and disappeared into the darkness.
The Last Night in Question
According to the autopsy report, River ingested 8x’s the lethal amount of cocaine and 4x’s the lethal amount of heroin – an absurd amount of drugs. Given everything presented here (all the news, signs, and clues) are we really to believe that River threw caution to the wind that night and went on a wild drug binge? When researched, his last night alive reads like a Scooby-Doo ending – depending on the narrator, each version is different.
“Acting is like putting on a Halloween mask.” (River Phoenix)
Accounts of that last night are contradictory before River even reached the club. His younger sister Rain and brother Joaquin flew in to join him at the Hotel Nikko that night along with Samantha Mathis. Although some versions have him partying in the hotel room snorting cocaine, smoking weed, drinking champagne and dancing by himself in the middle of the room, his brother denies the allegations:
“I’ve heard stuff about how the night River died he was partying and all that, it’s so untrue. That night we were together. He was just playing guitar. He wanted to show me a new song, and… I wanted to go out to see Flea play, because I’d never seen him play before. River wanted to go home, just hang out, play guitar. I was the one who wanted to go out, and he was just making sure to take care of me, but some guy who claims he was best friends with River comes out, I don’t know who the fuck he is, neither does anyone else, claiming all this bullshit. That is why I’ve been reluctant to share anything.” (Joaquin Phoenix, Movieline magazine)
During an interview with writer Gavin Edwards, William Richert gave his account of what Mathis told him back in 1993. She also claimed that River didn’t want to go that night and had offered to take his brother and sister for him since Joaquin was still underage. River then changed his mind at the last minute and ran to meet them at the elevator. Abby Rude was also at the hotel that night though he did not go with the others to the club. Before leaving, River reportedly turned to say something to him, and although Rude failed to mention what he actually said, he recalled:
“I saw something in his eyes that I’d never seen before. He had this intense look in his eyes…it was the last time I ever saw him alive.” (Abby Rude)
River and his entourage then left the hotel. Piling into a limo, they arrived at actor Jason London’s house in the Hollywood Hills for a Halloween party. Leonardo DiCaprio was also at that party and, in later interviews, recalled seeing River and described him as “looking really pale” although separate accounts report that he’d been wearing a Halloween mask. The group then left the party and arrived at the Viper Room at around midnight. According to Richert, after reaching the club, Mathis said that guitarist John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) approached their table and offered River a plastic blue cup telling him, “Drink this, it’ll make you feel fabulous.” River reportedly drank it down and suffered an immediate reaction. His neck bulged and his back twitched as he complained, “something’s wrong.” He then vomited at the table and asked to be taken outside. Richert went on to say that Mathis later changed her story.
In 1994, director Peter Bogdanovich (The Thing Called Love) gave an interview stating that Mathis had told him that after they arrived, River went outside with Frusciante. Mathis later went outside to check on him, saw they were having a heated discussion, and went back inside. When she saw him again he had a drink in his hand and fell sick shortly after.
According to Bob Forrest (Singer for Thelonious Monster and star of Celebrity Rehab), River and Frusciante arrived together at the Viper Room and instantly began passing around cocaine. In his memoir, Running with Monsters (released on the 20th anniversary of River’s death in October of 2013), he claims that, at one point, River tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Bob, I don’t feel so good, I think I’m OD’ing.” A few minutes later, however, he seemed to be okay.

Nowadays, the majority of media sources go with the disgruntled musician theory which goes something like this: River showed up with his guitar that night but was told by Flea that he wouldn’t be able to join them on stage. Upset, River went to the bathroom with either John Frusciante or one of his drug friends, and snorted some high-grade Persian Brown heroin. He immediately suffered a reaction and shouted something like, “What the fuck is this?” Someone gave him a Valium to calm him down and then River stumbled around for a little while longer, threw up on himself at the table, and was finally taken outside where he collapsed and suffered violent seizures.
In a 1993 article by The Independent, a young woman named Heather McDougal, claimed to have been a regular at the Viper Room. Here’s how she described that night: “I got here about 11:45 and it was a completely different crowd from usual. A lot of heavy-core rock types. It was a very weird feeling. I saw River Phoenix standing over there, by the mirror, with some people, hanging out, having a good time. At that point, at least, he didn’t look abnormal. People say, ‘Oh, he was acting weird,’ because they want it to be that way.” According to an article from the LA Times, November 2, 1993, the Viper Room was filled with mostly friends that night: “On Saturday, when Chili Peppers bassist Flea joined an extemporaneous jam session on stage, the club was said to be filled with friends of the owners [Johnny Depp and Chuck E. Weiss], with only a handful of paying customers.” Along with Flea, the jam session also included Johnny Depp’s band “P”, a lineup that featured Depp, Gibby Haynes, Sal Jenco, and Bill Carter. According to Haynes, they were playing a song called “Michael Stipe” when River fell ill:
“We were playing a song and River Phoenix was right down in front of me, to the left. We started the song “Michael Stipe” and it’s got River’s name it, so it was going to be cool, he’s a friend of mine and he’d never heard the song. So we were singing up on stage, ‘Him and River Phoenix were…’ And right at that moment, he was basically on the sidewalk. I saw him right at the beginning of the song, then I didn’t see River anymore.” (Gibby Haynes)
Once outside, River reportedly fell face first on the sidewalk where he suffered violent convulsions for nearly ten minutes. Joaquin ran to a pay phone across the street where he made the now infamous 911 call as onlookers crowded the scene. Photographer Ron Davis (who did not take pictures) described River as “a fish out of water, flapping around the sidewalk like a guppy. It was almost like his body was possessed.” The seizures reportedly lasted fifteen to twenty seconds, each one followed by a terrible silence. By the time the paramedics arrived, River’s heart was at a flat line. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:51 am Pacific Time. All possible witnesses refused to answer questions from homicide detectives, and the next day, River’s family called off the investigation. “The bottom line was the family didn’t want anyone to go to jail who was participating with River in ingesting the drugs,” said Detective Sergeant Lee. “They said that if it was an overdose of drugs then so be it.”
In the days and weeks following River’s death, news circuits ran wild as Joaquin’s 911 call flooded the airwaves and an outpouring of flowers and candles decorated the sidewalk where he collapsed. Most of his friends who were in attendance that night reportedly left town and a veil of silence seemed to surround the details of that fateful night. William Richert would later describe his death as “mysterious” as his life.
In November of 1995, the band “P” released their first and only album. The song “Michael Stipe” that played while River was dying was the only single to be released off that album. One could even say that Michael Stipe killed River Phoenix. The name “Michael” means “who is like God?”, and a stipe is a stalk or stem-like structure (like the stalk that supports the cap of a mushroom). “Michael”, then, refers to the dog/god that sparks the kundalini flame and causes it to travel up the spinal column (the stipe). The song, therefore, is less about the man, Michael Stipe, and more about what actually killed River. “P” first performed this song at the Austin Music Awards Show in March of 1993 prior to River’s death. The lyrics posted below paint a haunting picture of what would soon transpire:
I finally talked to Michael Stipe, he touched me on my arm.
I met him up in the Hollywood Hills, among the movie and TV stars.
I’m glad I met old Michael Stipe, I didn’t get to see his car,
him and River Phoenix were leaving on the road tomorrow, and I tonight.
Michael Stipe cried tonight.
Then I met old Michael Stipe, I met the girl in his video too.
Sophia Coppola looked at me, I didn’t know what the hell to do.
I’m glad I met old Michael that day
up the Laurel Canyon way.
Neil said it was full of famous stars,
hell I was driving Johnny Depp’s car.

We said goodbye to John Frusciante at his Chateau Marmont suites,
but we couldn’t find a part not a piece of our heart,
not Michael, River Phoenix or Flea or me.
I guess I’ll go back to Texas soon, leave these Hollywood Hills,
cuz I’ll shoot myself dead with a gun in my head
cuz that’s what this town would have me to do.
While I can’t say that I have a complete understanding of this song, the bigger picture is that the band members knew what River knew – that he was scheduled to die come Halloween of 1993. They too were victims of the dog/god and the kundalini loop. The line “I was driving Johnny Depp’s car” refers to the maddening light that has the potential of being anybody or anything. The car can be thought of as the brain, and the “light” as a virus that takes over the wheel. It was no coincidence that the people mentioned in the song (Flea, John Frusciante, Johnny Depp, and River) were also in attendance that night at the Viper Room. It would appear that River was armed with a plan. The line, “him and River Phoenix were leaving on the road tomorrow” perhaps refers to River overpowering the dog/god (“Michael Stipe”). As it turned out, life imitated art once again with River dying on the sidewalk (the road) at exactly the same time that line was being sung.
In an interview with US Magazine in February of 1994, Johnny Depp was questioned about the Viper Room. He closed the club for about two weeks after River’s death, and when the interviewer asked him if he considered closing it permanently, Depp curiously replied, “I considered closing it permanently. I … (uneasily) I considered it before that night.” In the same interview, he went on to say, “The guy [River] showed up with his girlfriend and guitar… that is not someone who is expecting to die.” Quite a peculiar statement to make, after all, who said anything about River expecting to die?
Perhaps the most telling song off “P’s” album is a track titled “The Deal”. Written after River’s death, the song appears to tell the story of the aftermath of a plan gone horribly wrong. The chorus repeats the phrase “the deal near the flap on that thing of mine, the deal near the flap on my thing”, which can be translated as “the thing that happened outside of my club near the entrance under the canvas awning.” The song begins with Haynes singing, “Suddenly it appeared a week ago, a bold arrangement of cells”. The kundalini fire is a physical transformation within the body, so the above line implies that River planned on overpowering the physical attack. The bold arrangement of cells could, then, refer to the pyramidal neurons in the brain which are ground zero for the kundalini awakening. The song then transgresses into a series of questions that a person in deep regret or mourning might ask themselves after the death of a loved one. With references to a dog, “What about the lipstick on the dog?” to light, “What about the headlights in the fog?”, and a Neosporin (a burn cream) bib, “What about a Neosporin bib?” the lyrics then ask the question, “What about the lies we have to live?” Towards the end of the song, Haynes sings “It took the sun/son about a week ago, the children had to run and hide,” which is, most likely, a reference to River’s friends fleeing town after his death and being forced to live with the lie of a drug overdose. The song ends with the line, “And so the moral of this story is never cross an angel with an asp,” which is a reference to the angelic realm mingling themselves with human DNA.

The Viper Room itself is rather symbolic of how River died – the address 8852 equaling 23, 23 pairs of chromosomes in a human cell, the number 88 signifying the viper rising up out of the pit of the stomach, 88 keys on the piano (36 black and 52 white), black and white symbolizing the mingling of two opposites, iron mixed with miry clay coming together to form water music, 666 equaling the sum of the integers from 1 to 36, the Sunset Strip symbolizing the Masonic light, the two-way mirror inside the club symbolizing the spirit realm (the sky as a molten looking-glass), the logo featuring Lady Luck as a snake sitting on dice, the kundalini loop of fate – River Phoenix did not die from a senseless drug overdose.
What’s the P Stand For?
In 1997, Johnny Depp appeared on the Rosie O’Donnell Show where he promoted “P’s” one and only album. When asked what the “P” stood for, Depp simply replied that it was a letter of the alphabet. While there are a number of possibilities, the element known as phosphorus is certainly a mighty contender. Symbolized as the letter “P”, phosphorus is the 13th element discovered and is sometimes referred to as “the devil’s element”. Its name was taken from Greek mythology and means “light-bearer” or “Lucifer” referring to the planet Venus or Mercury. It has 23 known isotopes and plays a major role in the structural framework of DNA. Phosphorus emits a faint glow when exposed to oxygen, is highly reactive, and is never found as a free element on earth. It is essential for life and is also used in explosives, poisons, and nerve agents. If phosphorus is indeed what the “P” stands for, it certainly sheds light on how River died. It’s also the main ingredient that sparks the kundalini flame.
Gibby Haynes designed the artwork for “P’s” album and “Michael Stipe” (featured above) is not painted in a pretty light. The figure to the left is mostly skeletal, an indication that “Michael Stipe” does represent phosphorus. Elemental phosphorus was first isolated from human urine and bone ash. Likewise, the two beans to the left and to the right of “Michael Stipe” might also represent kidneys, the organs used to make urine and remove waste. Traveling up Michael Stipe’s body, we see a fleshy umbrella-like shape that covers the area known as the thorax. The thorax or chest region includes vital organs such as the heart, lungs, and thymus gland. The “Stipe”, then, is the stalk leading up to the cap of a mushroom, or the spinal column leading up to the thorax. The sun featured above Michael Stipe’s hand represents the Masonic Light, aka, Lucifer, and the tongue represents the beginning of the digestive system. As we will see, the digestive system is what kindles the flame.
In the picture to the right, “Michael Stipe” looks to be holding a white bar of some kind which may be symbolic of white phosphorus. Discovered by German alchemist Hennig Brand in 1669, white phosphorus is highly flammable and self-igniting upon contact with air. Indeed, white phosphorus is only safe from self-igniting when it is submerged in water. Owing to its pyrophoricity, white phosphorus is used as an additive in napalm. Brand had been attempting to create the philosopher’s stone through the distillation of some salts by evaporating urine, he instead discovered white phosphorus. The key point here is that white phosphorus is formed from man via heat, salt, and urine. Next to calcium, phosphorus is the most abundant mineral in the body. About 85% of the body’s phosphorus is in bones and teeth, thus, the emphasis on Michael Stipe’s teeth and skeleton.
In the above picture, we see the same concept presented. The electric eels represent the unclean spirits, and the toothbrushes (along with the tooth above Michael Stipe’s head) represent phosphorus. “Michael Stipe” is both male and female symbolizing the fusing of two opposites, and the dog with X’s for eyes possibly represents the extra strand of DNA or the dog/god. In the upper left-hand corner, we see the phrase “P is a band NOT a liquid or a fruit”, which tells us that “P” is probably both a liquid and a fruit. The liquid is phosphorus and the fruit is quite possibly the fruit of the tree of good and evil. In the Garden of Eden, the serpent speaks exactly 46 words to Eve in the King James Version of the Bible, likewise, “the devil” is also mentioned 46 times – the number of chromosomes in the human body. The implication here is that phosphorus is the no good thing within us.
The above image depicts the letter “P” as having hypnotized eyes while rolling dice. It has been theorized that dice developed from the practice of fortune telling, hence, being hypnotized or spellbound. The image to the right is the old logo for The Viper Room and depicts Lady Luck as a serpent sitting on a die.
To summarize, the kundalini flame is a physical (and mental) transformation sparked by a spiritual being during a sex ritual known as hieros gamos (sacred marriage or sacred prostitution). It affects the pyramidal neurons in the brain and begins writing a new genetic code through phosphates in the body. Once ignited, it presents darkness as light and human excrement as godliness. Victims become entrained with the angelic driver as their biological clocks fall into sync with the external source of light. The pineal gland is activated as the “time giver” presents itself as God and the whole world suddenly falls into sync.
The above image is a woodcutting from The Rosary of the Philosophers, which is a 16th-century alchemical treatise published in 1550. In the book, the woodcutting is captioned as the illuminatio stage with the phrase, “Here Sol plainly dies again, And is drowned with the Mercury of the Philosophers.” The image depicts a winged sun setting into a square structure filled with liquid. The square, like da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, represents the human body. The winged sun represents the kundalini flame which is kindled by the angelic gene driver through a sex ritual. To the left is another woodcutting from The Rosary of the Philosophers captioned as the fermentatio stage depicting the sacred marriage.
What is the kundalini fire, exactly?
Sometimes called St. Elmo’s Fire, or the Eternal Flame, the kundalini fire is described as a primal or cosmic energy lying coiled at the base of the spine. In Hinduism, it’s described as “The Great Divine Mother”. In New Age teachings, it’s represented as either a goddess or sleeping serpent waiting to be awakened in order to obtain spiritual enlightenment. It has also been called an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force that, when awakened, travels up the spinal column to the top of the head. In his book, The Secret Teachings of all Ages, Manly P. Hall describes “sufficient similarity between the Masonic Hiram and the Kundalini of Hindu mysticism.” He refers to it as a “Spirit Fire” that moves through the spinal column and is, essentially, the Lost Key of Masonry:
“The exact science of human regeneration is the Lost Key of Masonry, for when the Spirit Fire is lifted up through the thirty-three degrees, or segments of the spinal column, and enters into the domed chamber of the human skull, it finally passes into the pituitary body (Isis), where it invokes Ra (the pineal gland) and demands the Sacred Name.” (Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of all Ages)
This cosmic energy coiled at the base of the spine is our own human waste recycled and transformed into new energy, thus, human regeneration or rebirth. Think of the large and small intestines coiled up around the base of the spine. The small intestine is where most chemical digestion takes place, and the large intestine, or colon, is the last part of the digestive system. It extracts water and salt from solid wastes before they are eliminated from the body. The colon is also the site where gut flora (microorganisms) ferment unabsorbed materials. Fermentation is a process that converts sugar to acids, gases, or alcohol (like wine). In the woodcutting titled the fermentatio stage from The Rosary of the Philosophers, the sex ritual known as hieros gamos is depicted. The implication is that the angelic gene driver (like an intelligent bolt of lightning) affects a person’s brain waves during an orgasm. Like the electric eels on “P’s” album art, the results are quite physical sparking a transformation or regeneration of the digestive system. Indeed, one commonly reports the kundalini experience to be a feeling of electric current running along the spine. Numerous accounts describe unwanted side effects commonly referred to as the Kundalini Syndrome. Symptoms include:
- Involuntary jerks, tremors, shaking, itching, tingling, and crawling sensations, especially in the arms and legs
- Energy rushes or feelings of electricity circulating the body
- Intense heat (sweating) or cold
- Difficulty breathing and shortness of breath
- Headache, migraine, or pressure inside the skull
- Emotional numbness
- Sensitivity to light, sound, and touch. Visions.
- Mood swings with periods of depression or mania
- Increased blood pressure and irregular heartbeat
- Trance-like and altered states of consciousness
- Loss of appetite or overeating
- Pains in different areas of the body, especially back and neck
- Heightened sexual desire sometimes leading to a state of constant or whole-body orgasm
- Disrupted sleep pattern (insomnia and oversleeping)
Epileptic patients have also described having seizures that parallel kundalini experiences. When we think of how River died, his body wracked with seizures for nearly ten minutes, is it not too far-fetched to consider the kundalini flame as the culprit?
Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble
Think of the stomach like a cauldron (the word “cauldron” literally means “hot bath”). When the unclean spirit mingles itself with the seed of men (DNA), it takes over the digestive system. The stomach becomes a pressure cooker, the belly of the beast so to speak, where the chemical transformation takes place. The stomach turns the breakdown of organic matter into a highly acidic mixture of gastric juices, hydrogen and methane gases, natural metals and minerals in the body, as well as phosphates. However, instead of the body disposing of these wastes, the angelic DNA harvests and recycles it into energy. Think of Macbeth and the three witches gathered around the cauldron chanting “double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble” – the stomach is literally the witch’s cauldron. This stage is known as fermentation. The next stage, separation, is an alchemical process described by The Emerald Tablet as “The Wind Carried It in its Belly”. Wind, as it were, is the movement of gases, air and charged particles, thus the concept of “passing wind”. Remember the Rolling Stone picture of River with an “X” across his stomach? The witch’s brew turned River’s stomach into a ticking time bomb.
Like stirring the cauldron, the Wind or pure energy forms an up flow vortex that travels up the spinal column into the thorax and into the brain. The stomach literally gives birth to the kundalini flame. Using Back to the Future as an example, the DeLorean uses garbage as fuel and features a generator referred to as Mr. Fusion in the film. Think of the car as the human body and Mr. Fusion as the unclean spirit. Indeed, the car actually has “wings” much like the setting sun on the above woodcutting.
The flux capacitor is the core component of the time machine and consists of a rectangular-shaped compartment with three flashing Geissler-style tubes (gas discharge tubes) arranged in a “Y” configuration. The rectangle-shaped compartment represents the human body, and the “Y” configuration represents the spinal column and thorax. Thus, the kundalini flame (the gas/energy) travels up the spinal column into the heart as well as the entire body. Doc describes the flux capacitor as “what makes time travel possible”. Although the film does not describe exactly how the flux capacitor works, Doc mentions that the stainless steel body of the DeLorean has a direct effect on the “flux dispersal”, which implies that natural metals in the body help fuel the flame. In the first film, Doc outfits the car with a large pole and hook in order to channel the power of a lightning bolt into the flux capacitor. In other words, the angelic driver triggers the kundalini flame that rises out of the stomach. As the time machine nears 88 mph, light from the flux capacitor begins pulsing more rapidly until it becomes a steady stream. Surrounded by electrical current, the whole car vanishes in a flash of white/blue light leaving behind a pair of fiery tire tracks. In the film, Doc originally conceived the idea for the flux capacitor when he slipped while hanging a clock in his bathroom and hit his head on the sink.
In reference to the kundalini loop, the time machine shows the destination in red which signifies the initial programming, the start and stop codon, or a person’s “fate” (think Gordie LaChance in his red shirt in Stand By Me). The color yellow represents the last-departed time, i.e., the completion of the golden loop, and green represents present time, thus, traveling in time simply refers to the time loop that victims experience. In River’s case, green represented death.
In Dark Blood, Boy forces water down Harry’s throat from a gasoline container. Notice the “X” on the red container. The symbolism implies that Boy is feeding the white rabbit a taste of his own medicine. The “X” represents the physical transformation sparked by the kundalini flame.
A Classic Cocaine Overdose…Really?
When paramedics arrived on the scene, River had gone into full cardiac arrest with no signs of a pulse or blood pressure. Captain Ray Ribar later told reporters that “it was the classic cocaine overreaction.” According to Bob Forrest, River and his good friend John Frusciante showed up that night and began passing around cocaine. Now, either River, with his clean-cut image, decided to snort a bunch of cocaine in front of his younger brother and sister or cocaine is code for something else.
Salt (sodium) makes up about .4 per cent of the body’s weight which is pretty well equivalent to that in seawater. It helps control blood pressure, water retention, and also the proper functioning of nerves and muscles by stimulating contraction. When the kundalini flame is lit, the sensation is like being drained of all fluids or literally like being turned into a pillar of salt. Interestingly, while on the set of Dark Blood River once mentioned to actress Judy Davis that he’d had too much sodium the night before.
“There was one day when he came in so out of it. River said he’d had too much sodium the night before. Okay, I’ve never had a sodium overdose. Maybe that’s exactly what they’re like.” (Judy Davis)
Perhaps Davis was more right than she knew. Like lightning striking the ocean, perhaps River’s body was turned into a human conductor, a human battery activated by heat. With melting points below 100 degrees Celsius, molten salts are a type of highly conductive electrolytes that are used in fuel cells and batteries. Sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, magnesium, and phosphate are all examples of electrolytes. Like turning water into wine, or salt water into a highly conductive molten brew, the wind carried in River’s belly ignited the bubbling cauldron.
In his own words
River recorded two songs with John Frusciante that were intended to be released on Frusciante’s 1994 solo album Usually Just a T-shirt, but (according to Wikipedia) were pulled due to protests from River’s family. They were later included under different names on his 1997 album Smile from the Streets You Hold. The original song titles were “Soul Removal” later changed to “Height Down” and “Bought Her Soul” later changed to “Well I’ve Been”. Written and sung by River himself, the lyrics for “Soul Removal” provide a chilling glimpse into his prior knowledge of how he would ultimately die. Although no official version of the lyrics exist, the version posted below paints a close enough picture.

The lyrics read like a riddle, but key phrases such as “murderless helping hands in a soul removal” and “I can sure see how they’ll take, gather round the fireplace, feelin’ freaky son” are pretty straightforward. The unclean spirits (the murderless helping hands) were responsible for sparking the kundalini flame, thereby, removing his soul. The line “Leader says century now” is either a reference to a real person (the High Priests of Masonry) or the angelic drivers, either way, it’s an indication that he knew his time was up. The song also references a kingship which is another suggestion that real people were involved. The song begins with the line, “I’ll send flowers again for her” which appears to contain a layered meaning. In the Masonic system, flowers are usually symbolic of the spiritual realm mingling themselves with the earthly realm (think Flower the skunk from Disney’s Bambi – light and dark, or the fusing of two opposites). The line could also be a reference to funerary flowers. The next line “blossom castle scents has her guest” is mostly likely a reference to the angelic realm and the mysterious sweet smell that accompanies these angelic beings. Indeed, it’s a phantom scent that is intoxicatingly good much like that of carnations. The line “a gift described, disguised as my rival” is perhaps a reference to the Viper Room owned by his acting rival Johnny Depp. The gift would then be the kundalini flame. River also sings the line “dirty boys only” which implies that only those with leprosy are welcomed in the entertainment industry, leprosy meaning someone who is spiritually unclean. He also uses the phrase “see that Rolling Throne story unfold” which seems to be a direct reference to the Rolling Stone photo with the “X” across his abdomen, released October 31.
The last part of the song is sung by John Frusciante and begins with the line “feather ascends” which is symbolic of a soul rising from the body. The last three lines refer to a “light” as a type of spy, most likely referring to the spirit realm and the witch’s so-called crystal ball. “They’ll come after what you’ve planned for” he sings, indicating that River’s plan would go awry. The last line, “I’m pleading foregoing tomorrow to do it right” seems to imply that Frusciante was pleading with River not to go to the Viper Room. While my analysis of these lyrics may leave room for error, the original title “Soul Removal” is, again, pretty straightforward.
The second song on the album featuring River also sheds light on his life and death. Though the song title was later changed to “Well I’ve Been”, the original title, “Bought Her Soul” once again contains the word “soul” and refers to “her”. As the story goes, Frusciante told River to just speak into a microphone and then he would reverse the vocals on the track. The original footage, that is, the non-backwards version is easy to dismiss as drug-fueled gibberish, but certain words and phrases suggest otherwise.
River begins with the phrase “I went into the Noah’s Ark” which is most likely in reference to his refusal to be reunited with the angelic realm. Rhyming with ark, he also makes reference to a fart, which, although humorous, foreshadows the coming flood brewing in his stomach that eventually killed him. He then croons into the microphone “I cry for your brother who sits on a stove”, a rather disturbing line with highly personal implications. The stove is most likely a reference to the cauldron, or the kundalini flame in the works. River also mentions a dog and a rabbit when he says “Marmaduke shave me a proper rabbit, a size too small”. Marmaduke was a newspaper comic strip about a Great Dane. We also hear the phrase, “I wish I could get into your brain…nerves”, which is another disturbing foreshadow of his death. The kundalini flame affects the central nervous system via pyramidal neurons in the brain. In a system ruled by occult numerology, River’s use of the phrase “No numbers to guide me” is also significant, and is another implication that he wasn’t playing by the rules. Lastly, we hear a reference to the children’s book The Little Engine That Could when he says, “I’m going a little faster, like a train up the hill, I think I can, I think I can, I can, I can, I lied. I try, I can, I can, I run…” The vocals then come to an abrupt stop. On the album version, the song ends with Frusciante singing, “Your shabby clothes you can’t be sold or bought, your gold” which implies that River had completed the kundalini loop.
Designed by John Frusciante, the album cover appears to depict the scene of the crime. The bottle in the foreground outlined in blue symbolizes the alchemical process that killed River. Like cracking open a bottle of soda, the pressure is released and the gas bubbles rise to the surface, or in River’s case, the brain. Notice the snake emerging from the top of the bottle representing the kundalini flame, or the coiled serpent. The layers of red, purple, and red symbolize the highly acidic and highly conductive molten brew of dissolved matter and gases. The white area next to the bottle can be thought of as River, the lines perhaps representing different brain waves. It’s possible that River believed he could alter his brain waves or frequencies and, therefore, withstand the flood. The snake emerging from the bottle bites “River”, and below that, we see three symbols – a diamond, a heart, and an oval. The diamond (or square) and circle represent the square and the compass, or the merging of the angelic realm with the earthly realm. River’s heart was ultimately attacked due to the square and compass. We also see a small, imp-like creature next to the heart exemplifying this concept. The bottle sits on a red surface covered with “X’s”, once again, symbolizing DNA and the human body. The symbol next to the bottle appears to symbolize the phoenix bird rising from its ashes, and in the background, we see what looks to be a soul rising from a heart. The mirror symbolizes the spirit realm, and the shades of gold represent the completion of the golden loop. A full moon looks down at the scene, as mentioned before, River died on the night of a full moon.
The artwork on the flipside of the album depicts a green fish/birdlike figure that appears to be on the verge of falling face first. The combination of bird and fish represents the fusion of two opposites – the bird symbolizing the angel and the fish symbolizing the human (like Darwin’s fish). In other words, River’s last evolution. As mentioned previously, green represents present time which is another indication that this is, indeed, a reference to River’s death. A blue “X” marks the spot where the figure will fall signifying River’s “waterfall”. The rounded red splotch in the background represents his destination in the kundalini time loop, and notice also the red knife with cat ears. This goes all the way back to Stand By Me, the beginning of the loop when Chris Chambers is killed in a knife fight – River’s destination. The cat ears represent the black cat seen on the blue car as well as the sex ritual hieros gamos. Birdman, written in red, is an independent record label but fitting nonetheless.

Another song on the Smile From the Streets You Hold album titled, Life’s a Bath, also supports the information presented here. Frusciante once stated that he was supposed to play this song at the Viper Room the night River died. Bath is another termed used for the kundalini fire.
Throughout the years, John Frusciante’s solo work appears to focus on the same theme. Released in 2004, his fourth solo album Shadows Collide with People is a rather obvious reference to the angelic realm mingling themselves with the earthly realm. His 2001 album, To Record Only Water for Ten Days, is another reference to the spirit realm. Released in 2014, his tenth solo album, Enclosure, symbolizes the red destination loop of the kundalini flame.
Frusciante released his eighth solo album, The Empyrean, in 2009. The album art (featured above) seems to be another reference to River’s death. A multi-faced Frusciante stands submerged in water sprouting wings with a waterfall in the backdrop. We see a wrecked ship on the bottom of the ocean and a deceased young man grasping a lifeline that leads up through the boat into Frusciante’s hand. The castle in the top right corner is reminiscent of the lyrics from Soul Removal “blossom castle scents has her guest”. The overall message seems to imply that Frusciante is trying to tell the world what really happened to River. One song in particular off the album titled, Dark/Light, appears to be about his deceased friend and a plan that went horribly wrong. The line “now what do we get for trying to follow to a ‘T’ all the instructions you gave to me” seems to be a direct reference to his friends and that last night at the Viper Room.

The title of the song alone tells the story of what actually happened to River – Dark/light, iron and clay, the fusion of two opposites. John Frusciante’s name has become synonymous with River’s death, but not in a positive way. He is the person most often accused of providing River with the drugs that killed him. If this song is, in fact, about River, the lyrics are pretty straightforward. The line “I was made to think that we would wind up round here” is an indication that he expects the truth to finally come out some day. The line is followed up with “will we ever get together in a song” which could be a direct reference to the song “Soul Removal”. All signs point to the fact that John Frusciante and River were attempting to expose the workings of the Masonic system.
R.E.M.’s video for the song Strange Currencies was shot on October 30, 1994 on the first year anniversary of River’s death. The cast had a total of 23 people. The song begins with the lyrics, “I don’t know why you’re mean to me when I call on the telephone. And I don’t know what you mean to me, but I want to turn you on, turn you up, figure you out, I want to take you on. These words, ‘You will be mine.’ These words, ‘You will be mine.’ all the time.’” As we will see from the video, the song appears to be, in part, from the perspective of the dog/god, aka, “Michael Stipe”. The “telephone” is most likely a reference to communication with the spirit world done through electrical currents, indeed, “strange currencies” is probably a reference to charged particles both in the air and in the human body. The lyric, “I want to turn you on” is not only a sexual insinuation but also one referring to the brain.
The term “strange fire” is mentioned three times in the King James Bible. In both Leviticus and Numbers, the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu both died after offering “strange fire” before the Lord. In Luke 10:18-19, Jesus describes Satan as lightning falling from heaven. In Ezekiel, the angels are described as “fire infolding itself” and they also “sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.” The angels in Ezekiel are also described as having wheels. If we think of angels as stars – gas, plasma, pure energy – the concept of electricity as angelic DNA begins to make sense. The human heart functions through a series of electrical impulses and signals sent throughout the body, including the central nervous system and brain. Manly P. Hall described the “Spirit Fire” as entering the brain and passing into the pituitary gland. Incidentally, the pituitary gland secretes hormones that help control blood pressure, certain functions of the sex organs, thyroid glands, metabolism, water/salt concentration at the kidneys, and temperature regulation. In other words, once the angelic driver takes over the wheel it also takes over the physical workings of the body. Like an electric car on auto pilot, the “strange fire” transforms the inner-workings of the body. The brain is literally lit up like an apple during an orgasm, which is how a person becomes entrained (in sync) with the angelic driver. The rhythm of the heart is hijacked as the victim is temporarily on the same frequency as a star. One could even say that electricity, or strange currencies, is the Masonic light.
R.E.M.’s song also includes the lines “I’m going to make whatever it takes, bring you up, call you down, sign your name, secret love, make it rhyme, take you in, and make you mine”. The line “make it rhyme” refers to the entrainment accomplished through another sex ritual. The lyrics also state, “Now with love, comes strange currencies.” Love or evol, again, refers to the sex ritual which, in turn, brings about the kundalini flame. In River’s case, love brought death. The song ends with the line, “These words, they haunt me, hunt me down, catch in my throat, make me pray, say, love’s confined to Earth.” In other words, “love” or “fleshy things” are confined to earth.
The above screenshots are from the video for Strange Currencies which tells the story of River’s life and death. The video begins with a spotlight passing over a fire hydrant next to stacks of newspapers. We then see a young boy inside of a television which symbolizes River the child star. This scene, in fact, is symbolic of Stand By Me where River’s fate was brought to light after his initiation. The newspapers represent the news and signs from the spirit realm, and the fire hydrant represents the kundalini flame. We then see a photograph of Samantha Mathis (who appears throughout the video). The photo is streaked with water which symbolizes the love that sparked the kundalini flame for the last time. The beginning scene, then, exemplifies the kundalini loop of fate.
The next series of screenshots depicts River (played by Norman Reedus) hiding from the spotlight, which is exactly how River lived his life. In the last image, a phone booth is seen with the car/angelic driver shining its spotlight exemplifying the notion of spirits as spies.
Shadow men are also seen in the video standing against a metal building under the letter “B”. They most likely represent the angelic drivers or spirits, and the “B” is possibly a reference to beta waves, or beta rhythms which occur over the motor cortex of the brain. They are often associated with muscle contractions. One of the shadow men also carries an umbrella which is symbolic of entrainment of the brain. When the angelic driver takes over the wheel, the victim’s world falls under an umbrella of maddening synchronicities. Michael Stipe is also seen in the video sitting in the backseat of a car with the shadow of a butterfly on the window. This most likely symbolizes the angelic driver taking over the wheel. The window represents the spirit realm, the butterfly represents the angel/spirit, and the car represents the human body/brain. In the last image, a young boy holds up a human figure with wings symbolizing the idea of sacrifice.
Near the end of the video, “River” is seen running away from a car with a spotlight bearing down on him. A wolf is shown tearing into a piece of raw meat, and a solemn young man and woman appear knelt down on the side of the road – a scene that depicts River’s death outside of the Viper Room witnessed by his brother and sister. Stacks of tires from an 18-wheeler are seen behind the young couple along with a mysterious young woman with blond hair. Dressed in bleak grey clothing, she looks away from the camera with both hands in her pocket. The hair style is reminiscent of Mathis’ hair at the time of River’s death, thus, the symbolism implies that the mysterious woman is the spirit who took over the wheel while River and Samantha were dating. Mathis is also shown at the end of the video sadly putting her head down as the spotlighted car drives away through a puddle of water. The white platform shoe is also highly symbolic. White signifying leprosy as well as an extremely hot fire or explosion. The platformed-heel represents a higher level, or evolution, sometimes referred to in the system as “flying”. The tire, of course, represents River’s waterfall.
Released on October 21, 1993 (just over a week before River’s death), Find the River was the last single released from R.E.M.’s album Automatic for the People. With lyrics that center around the water cycle, the song begins with the following lines:

The read on the speed meter says

Don’t be shy, your just deserts
Is only just light years to go
Notice the car symbolism (the speed meter) as well as the reference to drowning and serving, aka, playing by the rules vs. swimming against the tide. Notice also the reference to River’s “just deserts” (that which one deserves or fate) and “light years”, aka, the time cycle and kundalini loop. The song also contains the verse, “The ocean is the river’s goal, a need to leave the water knows, we’re closer now than light years to go,” which appears to be another reference to River’s approaching fate. “The water knows” refers to the signs, news, and clues from the spirit world that appeared to lay out River’s supposed destiny.
The ocean is the river’s goal
We can think of the human body like the water cycle: the sun’s heat provides energy to evaporate water from the Earth’s surface (oceans, lakes, etc), and the water vapor condenses forming tiny droplets in clouds. When the clouds meet cool air over land, precipitation is triggered, and water returns to the land (or sea). As water flows through rivers, it picks up small amounts of mineral salts from the rocks and soil of the river beds before flowing into the oceans and seas. The water in the oceans only leaves by evaporating, but the salt remains dissolved in the ocean – it does not evaporate. So the remaining water gets saltier and saltier as time passes. We can think of the angelic driver as the sun (the energy) that evaporates fluids from the human body (the land), where it then gathers in the sky (the brain) when the kundalini flame rises from the stomach. River’s failure to continue rekindling the kundalini flame led to rising sea levels and a highly salty, highly conductive ocean.

The above verse appears towards the end of the song. The river empties into the ocean’s tide where it then contributes to the undertow — tides are the rise and fall of sea levels and an undertow is a current of water below the surface. Current, as it were, is the flow of water, the flow of electricity, and a reference to time. River fell into the ocean outside of the Viper Room where his fortune was fulfilled by the current.

The song ends with a more obvious reference to River the person and seems to imply that he rekindled the kundalini flame. He will now either rise (fly) or fall with the tide. Released after River’s death, the video for Find the River also tells the story of how he died. Centered around an old man and his dog, the deeper meaning depicts River as the old man and the angelic driver as the dog.
The old man follows a stream of water as the dog darts ahead anticipating the old man to follow. They stop and the old man splashes water on his face as the dog watches intently— a veiled reference to hieros gamos. The old man then observes a burned down house (symbolizing his body or temple) with a white oven set against the wall. A cat figurine is spotlighted as it peeks around from behind a wall, and the old man picks through the trash. The camera zooms in on a drawing as he runs his fingers across the dragon’s eye – an obvious reference to the fiery serpent.
The video ends with the old man falling asleep (or dying) on a sidewalk with the dog by his side, another veiled reference to River’s death outside of the Viper Room on the sidewalk. The dog is then seen running along a beach and playing with the rise and fall of the tide.
Throughout the years, Michael Stipe’s lyrics appear to focus on River’s death and the painful loss of his friend. R.E.M.’s 1994 album titled Monster was dedicated to River, and future songs such as E-bow the Letter, Electrolite, Bittersweet Me, and The Outsiders all seem to focus on how he died — none of which suggest it was a drug overdose. One song in particular titled, Worst Joke Ever, appears to mock the official story of River’s death with underlying clues of what really happened.

River is the cat burglar who tempted fate and tried to override the angelic driver. He rolls the dice, walks into a dark bar (the Viper Room) and loses the bet. The third verse is of particular interest when he slips on the 8 ball and falls on his knife – the 8 ball being a reference to River’s fortune (not a drug reference) and the knife symbolic of Chris Chambers’ fate of dying in a knife fight. The line is also reminiscent of John Frusciante’s drawing of the knife with cat ears on his album Smile From the Streets You Hold. The mention of the year 1954 might also be a reference to Stand By Me which was set in the 1950’s.
Michael Stipe often displays the water symbol (the downward triangle) in photo shoots and on stage during concerts. Notice he holds the hand sign near the middle of his stomach. The photo with the snake around his neck is perhaps the most obvious – the kundalini serpent rising from the pit of the stomach and choking the hanged man.
Released in 2011, R.E.M.’s final studio album Collapse into Now appears to be another reference to River’s death. The album begins and ends with the same melody with lyrics that encourage listeners to “Discover!” The message, perhaps, is a hopeful plea for the truth behind River’s death to finally be revealed.
The last song on the album is titled Blue, and the video features clips of River from My Own Private Idaho. Scenes of Los Angeles dominate the video including the Sunset Strip, the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Chateau Marmont Hotel, etc., while an old television showing scenes from the movie floats across the screen. Actress Lindsay Lohan also appears in the video posing in a highly sexual manner while sitting on an oven. The video for Find the River also featured an oven, and River himself used the symbolism when he crooned, “I cry for your brother who sits on a stove”. Clearly, the oven represents the kundalini flame being ignited by the sex ritual, hieros gamos. A movie theater with black and white checkered floors is highlighted in the video as My Own Private Idaho plays on the big screen – dark/light. Iron and clay. The square and the compass. Electricity and water. The video ends with the old television set hovering over the sandy shores of the ocean.
Blue is the color of water, the color of the sky, the color of Ray Brower’s Keds, the color of natural gas as it burns, and the color of the junkyard car in Stand By Me that foretold River’s future. The lyrics to the song include the phrase, “Cinderella boy, you’ve lost your shoe” which is reminiscent of Ray Brower’s blue Ked. River also loses his shoe in the video for Strange Currencies. “Twentieth century collapse into now”, Stipe sings – the last video for the last song on their last album featuring River. Discover.
River sifts through sand
River formed his band Aleka’s Attic in 1988 featuring his sister, Rain, along with friends Josh Greenbaum, Josh Mckay, Tim Hankins and Sasa Raphael. When asked about choosing the band’s name, River often explained, “Aleka is a fictional poet philosopher who gathered friends in his attic to discuss his ideas. When Aleka dies they form a band to share his beliefs with others through music.” We can think of River as Aleka, for after his death, that’s exactly what his friends did. The name Aleka means “man’s defender” and attic is perhaps symbolic of the brain. Although the band had plans of releasing an album through Island Records, River’s death shelved those plans indefinitely. However, in 1997 Michael Stipe bought the rights to all of Aleka’s Attic’s material from Island Records. The music can now be found on You Tube and various other Internet sources. Through River’s music we can hear, in his own words, how he felt about the Masonic system, the dog/god, and his own grim fortune. Though many of the songs are sung by Rain, it is my understanding that River wrote most of the lyrics.
The song titled, Blue Period, is reminiscent of the Blue Point diner in Stand By Me. As stated above, blue is a color that symbolizes the angelic realm merging with the earthly realm. The song even includes the line, “I’ll never know the ghost that wears your clothes” and ends with the verse “our sentence ends with a blue period”, once again bringing to mind the Blue Point Diner. River’s sentence did indeed end with a blue period.

Perhaps one of the most disturbing songs is one titled In the Corner Dunce. Although the melody itself is upbeat and quirky, the lyrics are much more cynical as River sings about dying and returning as a ghost. It’s a common belief among those familiar with the Masonic system that communications from the spirit realm are actually deceased loved ones, or more accurately, what the Bible refers to as “familiar spirits”. In one part of the song River even sings, “there’s a hole in the ozone, so life’s worth giving up and when I do now, won’t you please forgive me?” He goes on to ask “will you respond if I float in?” Throughout the song, verses like “when I fall forget me” and “your point of view, it’s appointed me, died” are clear indicators that River knew about his appointed fate. He again likens himself to a ghost when he sings, “when I go around round and I hit the town, and when I can’t be found found then you wait for sounds.” The song ends with the lines, “Ohh, la la, it’s my faulty love, in the corner like a dunce it’s all self-conscious thought.” The phrase ohh, la, la is an obvious sexual connotation, and faulty love refers to love/evol or evolution via the kundalini flame. The word dunce refers to a person who is a fool or incapable of learning, thus, River’s de-evolution in the system.

The song, You’re So Ostentatious, refers to the time cycle to which victims are subjected. River’s lyrics are in protest of the time cycle as he sings “you tell time when there’s no time to be tellin.” He also mentions a gold watch which is, most likely, a reference to the kundalini’s golden loop.

The song Scales and Fishnails appears to directly address the angelic realm as River sings, “Don’t want to hear from your satellite, Baby.” The use of the word “satellite” refers to the news from the spirit realm as well as the angelic driver itself who acts as a sort of satellite. Indeed, a satellite is an artificial body orbiting around the earth (the victim) collecting information and attempting to communicate. River’s use of the term “cloned eyes” is a direct reference to DNA and the physical transformation that occurs after a sex ritual. The last two lines indicate a sort of reluctant surrender on his part, but he ends with stating “I won’t marry you” – a direct reference to the sacred marriage or hieros gamos.

Another song about marriage, Alone We Elope appears to be directed at an actual person. The term “elope” means a secret marriage, thus, the title implies a want to ditch the dog/god or the angelic driver in order to be with someone. The line “take a hike before you hit a widow’s peak” refers to rekindling the kundalini flame and becoming lost in the woods. The “widow’s peak” is a reference to Hiram Abiff the Widow’s Son and his unfortunate fate. River also sings “I wasn’t built for this so help me help you” which implies that he was trying to help someone else who was also a victim of the Masonic system. The lyrics also blatantly confess River’s rejection of the system when he states “I wasn’t built for this”, most likely a physical and mental admission. The song also refers to the kundalini loop when he sings, “take a hike before you hit a widow’s peak, me I’d like to know, flak hats when she tells me, off the loop I go and we elope.” A flak hat is a type of helmet used by the army as well as cyclists. In the Masonic system, motorcycles are symbolic of one driver, hence, the single-cylinder engine of a motorcycle.

Perhaps the most well-known song by Aleka’s Attic, Across the Way seems to dispute the idea that the grass is greener on the other side. On the surface, the song may seem like a protest against ruling political powers (which it is), but the main ruling powers are more spiritual than earthly. The title of the song is most likely a reference to the spiritual realm with lyrics that repeat the phrase, “you live across the way, I’ve heard you say, not in words you show on face.” The implication is that “you” is not an actual person but rather the “light” from the spirit world. We also hear the phrase “let’s sift through sand” which is a direct revolt against the spiritual waters. The lyrics then follow up with “a fallen angel has been canned, should it be bound (a calling), what breathes down your neck is lion’s breath, breathe.” Clearly, River is referring to Lucifer in the verse as well as the fiery serpent, or the fallen angel that’s been canned. The song also features the line “let’s just say it’s found in all of us” indicating that the kundalini flame has the potential of striking anyone if awakened.

Although they never released an album, River and Aleka’s Attic toyed with such titles as Zero and Never Odd or Even. The latter of the two is a palindrome which is a word, phrase, number or sequence spelled the same way backwards and forwards. Palindromes are also found in biological structures, specifically DNA and RNA when a single-stranded sequence is equal to its corresponding sequence read backwards. In Marilyn Ferguson’s book, The Aquarian Conspiracy, she mentions becoming a new human being through “new patterns of life” as chromosomes split to form a new genetic code. Through palindromic sequencing, the angelic drivers are doing just that.
In chapter 6 of the Book of Genesis, verses 1 and 2 describe the sons of God (angels) taking wives of the daughters of men (human women). Here, we have the biblical account of hieros gamos, or the sacred marriage, with both verses equaling 46 words – the number of chromosomes per human cell.
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” (Genesis 6:1-2 KJV)
We are then told that the Sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and bare children unto them, mighty men (giants), an altered race of humans spliced with angelic DNA. The word Genesis, after all, contains the word “gene”. Noah found grace with God not because he was without sin, but because he was perfect in his GENErations. In fact, the two verses that describe Eve being created from Adam also contain 46 words (beginning after “and Adam said”):
“And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:23-24 KJV)
In Genesis chapter 3, the serpent beguiles Eve to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil, which in turn, leads to the fall of man. He speaks exactly 46 words to her in the Garden of Eden. The implication is that the forbidden fruit altered man’s DNA. About 85% of the body’s phosphorus (which is essential for life) is found in the bones and teeth. When we consider the line “bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh”, is it not possible that phosphorus is the no good thing inside us? Is it not possible that phosphorus is the physical element that corrupts our flesh? Perhaps so, but the most important aspect to keep in mind is that the sex ritual, hieros gamos, leads to a physical transformation. The Bible states that man shall “cleave unto his wife” and that they shall be “one flesh”. The word “cleave” also appears in The Book of Daniel when he’s describing The Fourth Kingdom, or the iron kingdom mingling themselves with the seed of men.
“And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” (Daniel 2:43 KJV)
The modern day version of hieros gamos is a mockery of God’s version of marriage, and as iron does not mix with miry clay, the union must continuously be rekindled. The strange fire/spirit fire/kundalini flame transforms the inner-workings of the body, like an intelligent bolt of lightning equipped with consciousness, the angelic driver rewrites the human body’s genetic code.

The number 236 written on the blue car in Stand By Me represents River’s phylogenetic tree, or more specifically, his Kabalistic Tree of Life. Used in esoteric Judaism, the Tree of Life is a mystical symbol that represents the spiritual path of the ascent of man, aka, evolution. It contains 10 Sephirots (a Hebrew word that literally means “counting”) or eleven when including all ten as one whole. It also contains 22 paths that lead to each of the ten Sephirots. In recent years, Kabbalah has become a well-known trend in Hollywood with celebrities like Britney Spears, Madonna, Demi Moore and countless others advocating their practice of the Jewish idea. Although presented as a sort of spiritual guide to enlightenment, the Kabalistic Tree of Life is less about spiritual transformation and more about physical transformation. More accurately, the ten Sephirots represent the ten major organ systems of the human body:
- Circulatory System –Heart, blood vessels, etc
- Digestive System – mouth, stomach, etc
- Endocrine System – pituitary, thyroid, etc
- Integumentary System – skin, hair, sweat glands, etc
- Muscular System
- Nervous System – brain, spinal cord, nerves
- Respiratory System – lungs, larynx, etc
- Skeletal System
- Urinary System – kidneys, bladder, etc
- Reproductive System – iron mixed with miry clay, i.e., hieros gamos
The eleventh Sephirot represents “the new human being” that is formed through “new patterns of life”. When the angelic driver takes over the wheel via pyramidal neurons (cells) in the brain, the result is a physical transformation that occurs when all 10 systems have been hijacked. The 22 paths on the Kabalistic Tree of Life connecting the ten Sephirots actually represent the 22 genetically encoded amino acids. Amino acids are responsible for creating proteins and can be thought of as the letters of the words of the book of DNA. We can then think of the angelic driver as a virus that temporarily redirects or rewrites God’s Book of Life (DNA), thus, as we saw with River, life begins to imitate art. Freemasons refer to their god as “the Great Architect” in the sky, and if cells are the building blocks of life, it makes sense to conclude that the angelic gene driver is building a new temple for himself. By rearranging cells, new patterns of life do, indeed, emerge.
RNA vs DNA (Cain vs Abel?)
DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid while RNA is ribonucleic acid. Although both carry genetic information, there are a few differences between them. DNA is a double-stranded molecule while RNA is a single-stranded molecule. Both have a phosphate backbone, but DNA contains the sugar, deoxyribose, while RNA contains the sugar ribose. The difference is that ribose has one more -OH (Oxygen and Hydrogen) group than deoxyribose, because of this, DNA is stable under alkaline conditions while RNA is not stable. DNA stores genetic information, but RNA acts as a messenger and is responsible for decoding and transferring that information. DNA is self-replicating and RNA is synthesized from DNA on an as-needed basis.
Symbolically, we can think of RNA as Cain and DNA as Abel. When Hiram Abiff throws himself into the fire, he encounters a gigantic figure who tells him that he is Tubal-Cain. In the Bible, Tubal-Cain was a descendent of Cain and an instructor of iron and brass. The image from Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel chapter two is described as having a belly of brass, thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet part iron and part clay. Brass is a metal compound made from a process of melting and cooling, thus, the belly as a bubbling cauldron. Iron represents the Fourth Kingdom, i.e., the angelic realm. Tubal-Cain, therefore, is the embodiment of a spiritually altered race of humans. While in the fire, Hiram Abiff is told that he is also in the presence of Cain, “the author of his race”. The Masonic story is an allegory for the awakening of the kundalini flame, which, as we will see, is more like a retrovirus that uses RNA as genetic material.
We can think of the two strands as the two brothers, one which functions on faith and reliance on God (double-stranded DNA) and the other that relies on itself and its own works (RNA). By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain (Hebrew 11:4) who was a tiller of the ground and offered the fruits of his own labor. Abel, on the other hand, was a keeper of sheep, likewise, DNA is a keeper of genetic information, i.e., the Word of God. As stated above, the 22 genetically encoded amino acids can be thought of as the letters of the words of the book of DNA. Interestingly, the below verse contains exactly 22 words:
“And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” (Genesis 4:2 KJV)
Both DNA and RNA function together in the human body, one keeping the genetic information and the other decoding that information. Once the kundalini flame is lit, however, RNA is like a rogue virus that breaks away from DNA becoming its own god with a different set of rules and a new author. In the verse where Cain kills Abel, once again, we have a total of 22 words:
“And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?” (Genesis 4:9 KJV)
Abel was a keeper of sheep, a keeper of God’s Word. Cain kills Abel and asks, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” signifying that God’s Word (DNA) is no longer his concern. “I know not” Cain replies when asked where Abel is. In other words, RNA is no longer taking genetic orders from DNA. New patterns of life emerge as a new genetic code begins taking shape. Shapes, as it were, are an extremely important factor.
Boxcar Trains, Protein Chains and Sugarcane
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins which play a crucial role in almost all biological processes. The shapes of proteins are of key importance and are determined by the sequence of amino acids that make them up. These shapes are produced through a process known as protein folding which occurs during the translation process via messenger RNA. Transfer RNA decodes the message and the proteins then form a linear chain (like a boxcar train) of amino acids. The structure of proteins begins to take shape through something known as the hydrophobic effect. The word “hydrophobic” literally means “water-fearing” and refers to the nine amino acids that have hydrophobic side-chains. These amino acids have the tendency to cluster together in an aqueous solution (like the human body) and exclude water molecules. This then maximizes hydrogen bonding between water molecules. A good example of the hydrophobic effect is the separation of oil and water. High levels of salt also increase the effect. This is, essentially, the concept behind River’s death and can also be found in the Bible. In Genesis chapter 1, God gathers the waters into one place exposing the dry land. Starting after “And God said”, the verse contains 22 words:
“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:9 KJV)
The 22 amino acids are the building blocks of DNA and RNA, likewise, they are the building blocks of proteins. Each protein has its own precise function under the direction of its own gene, and the hydrophobic effect has a direct influence on the structure of proteins. Minimizing the number of hydrophobic side chains exposed to water is the driving force behind protein folding. Likewise, the hydrophobic effect occurs when the protein side-chains fold and collapse. When awakening or rekindling the kundalini flame, rapid and chronic dehydration occurs, and water, though craved, seems to magnify the experience. The physical transformation occurs when the amino acids (or proteins) are gathered together, rearranged, and folded into a new structure, a retrovirus where DNA is transcribed into RNA, and then RNA is translated into proteins. Like resetting the biological clock, all ten organ systems fall under the rule of the new genetic code. The author of “Cain’s race” is the serpent, and through the sacred marriage, that seed is awakened.

In direct contrast, hydrolysis (hydro meaning “water” and lysis meaning “to unbind”) is the separation of chemical bonds by the addition of water. In RNA, the sugar-phosphate backbone is degraded and broken down during hydrolysis. It is the reverse of dehydration synthesis in which two molecules join together into a larger one. Dehydration synthesis means “to put together while losing water”. This, combined with the hydrophobic effect, is the process by which the kundalini flame is awakened and explains the sudden feeling of rapid dehydration victims experience. Indeed, it feels as though the entire body is being drained of all fluids. Whereas dehydration synthesis joins together molecules, hydrolysis adds water to breakdown those chemical bonds. A common kind of hydrolysis occurs when salt is dissolved in water. The implication here is that the new genetic code (the angelic RNA virus) is eventually degraded and broken down by water. Unlike DNA, RNA is much more susceptible to hydrolysis due to the sugar ribose having one more –OH (oxygen and hydrogen) group than deoxyribose.
In the Masonic allegory, Hiram stood “calm, like a god” with ponderous columns of water before the advancing stream of fire, but without success. Hiram is, essentially, symbolic of amino acids (the building blocks of DNA) and the ponderous columns of water are symbolic of the hydrophobic side-chains. As stated before, he is presented in freemasonry as the chief architect of King Solomon’s Temple. In the Bible, Hiram is presented as the king of Tyre who sent Solomon and David architects, workmen, cedar wood and gold to help build Solomon’s Temple and David’s house. Certainly by no coincidence, the name “Hiram” is mentioned 22 times in the King James Bible. Also by no coincidence, the two verses presented below contain 22 words each:
“And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.” (2 Samuel 5:11 KJV)
The above verse is the first time Hiram’s name appears in the King James Bible, likewise, the below verse is the last time he is mentioned.
“Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.” (1 Chronicles 14:1 KJV)
The two repeated verses are symbolic of base pairs which are units consisting of two nucleobases bond together by hydrogen bonds. They form the building blocks of the DNA double helix, and contribute to the folded structure of both DNA and RNA. Like the two above verses, they are the beginning and the end of God’s Word, i.e., DNA.
In the Masonic allegory when Hiram is returned to earth after enduring the molten sea, he is given a hammer. Tubal-Cain then explains, “Thanks to this hammer and the help of the genie fire [the gene fire], thou shalt speedily accomplish the work left unfinished through man’s stupidity and malignity.” The genie fire is, of course, the kundalini flame triggered by hieros gamos, and the hammer is most likely a reference to a hammerhead ribozyme. Ribozymes are RNA molecules that are capable of catalyzing biochemical reactions. Hammerhead ribozymes are small, catalytic RNA’s that undergo self-cleavage of their own backbone to produce two RNA products. In laymen’s terms, RNA has the potential of becoming self-reliant by cleaving to its own backbone. Like Cain, RNA relies on itself and its own works. A tiller of the ground, of dust, and of flesh, Cain concerns himself with building an earthly temple, another house, and another double-stranded RNA structure through self-cleavage. No longer its brother’s keeper, RNA transcribes and rewrites the DNA code.
In his book, The Secret Teachings of all Ages, Manly P. Hall describes “sufficient similarity between the Masonic Hiram and the Kundalini of Hindu mysticism.” He refers to it as a “Spirit Fire” that moves through the spinal column and is, essentially, the Lost Key of Masonry:
“The exact science of human regeneration is the Lost Key of Masonry, for when the Spirit Fire is lifted up through the thirty-three degrees, or segments of the spinal column, and enters into the domed chamber of the human skull, it finally passes into the pituitary body (Isis), where it invokes Ra (the pineal gland) and demands the Sacred Name.” (Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of all Ages)
What Manly P. Hall fails to mention is that the spinal column, or backbone, is more accurately the sugar-phosphate backbone that forms the structural framework of nucleic acids, like DNA and RNA. Molecules known as nucleotides are linked together through the formation of bonds between the 5-carbon sugar and phosphate, thus forming the sugar-phosphate backbone of nucleic acids. The bases of these nucleotides protrude like the ribs of the spinal column. The 33 segments of the spinal column to which he refers are more accurately the 33 proteins found in something known as the eukaryotic small ribosomal subunit, or in laymen’s terms, the ribosome which contains the decoding center in protein translation.
Found within all living cells, the ribosome is a complex molecule that links amino acids together in the order specified by messenger RNA thereby forming a chain. Just as Eve was created from the rib of Adam, likewise, we can think of the ribosome as the “rib” of the angelic driver. It serves as the site of translation linking the amino acids, i.e., the letters of the words of the new book of life in a specified order. If those letters are rearranged like an anagram and “too many secrets” becomes “Setec Astronomy”, a different book of life emerges. We can think of the ribosome as the serpent’s seed and the kundalini flame as the offspring. Once ignited, the physical transformation takes shape. Like a plastic version of God, the RNA virus begins writing its own book of life, thus, life begins imitating art. As River sings in “Across the Way”, it is, indeed, found in all of us.
As stated before, River’s genetic code was played out in Stand By Me when Gordie Lachance fired off a gun outside of the Blue Point Diner. The clear part of the planchette on the blue car points to the number three representing the three nucleotides, or the codon of his new genetic code. A codon is a sequence of three nucleotides that together form a unit of genetic code in DNA or RNA. If a stop codon (termination of translation) is not inserted, the RNA folds and forms a hairpin loop, aka, the golden loop. The chain of nucleotides is translated into proteins, thus, the word is made flesh. Just like R.E.M.’s song “Find the River”, the River, quite literally, empties into the nucleotide and falls into the ocean.
In the Masonic allegory, Hiram Abiff is told by Tubal-Cain (RNA) to finish building Solomon’s Temple. He is then murdered in that temple by three ruffians, i.e., the three nucleotides forming a codon of genetic code. As stated before, the allegory implies that he is the architect of his own fate for if he hadn’t finished building the temple, perhaps he would not have been killed by the three ruffians. In other words, Hiram (representative of the 22 amino acids, a picture that the Bible itself paints) transcribed his own fate. Freemasons refer to their god as “The Great Architect in the sky” which is the angelic gene driver, the temple builder, or the spirit responsible for sparking the kundalini flame.
RNA is essential for coding, decoding, regulation, and gene expression, likewise, transfer RNA serves as the physical link between messenger RNA and the amino acid sequence of proteins. Just as angels are sent as messengers from God in The Bible, the angelic driver can be thought of as messenger RNA responsible for conveying genetic information. Acting as bridges, transfer RNA carry those messages (those amino acids) to the ribosomes where translation can then take place. Transfer RNA is often described as resembling a 3-leaf clover. Indeed, this clover-leaf structure is responsible for the connection between every codon, anti-codon and amino acid. It also resembles the hanged man.

The train that knocked Ray Brower right out of his blue Keds symbolizes the chain of nucleotides that fall into place during translation. Much like a train crash, the proteins fold and a new structure is formed revealing the bigger picture. The future comes into view as the handwriting on the wall is deciphered and destiny appears through the dissipating fog of the crystal ball.
The hairpin loops featured in the above image of transfer RNA are key building blocks of secondary structures of RNA. A hairpin loop is an unpaired loop of messenger RNA that is created when the strand folds and forms base pairs with another section of the same strand. It usually occurs when a nucleotide sequence is complementary when read in opposite directions. In other words, the RNA strand cleaves to itself forming a double helix by way of a palindromic sequence.
Never Odd or Even
Aleka’s Attic’s tentative title for their album, Never Odd or Even, is a palindrome which is a word, phrase, number or sequence spelled the same way backwards and forwards. As stated above, palindromes are also found in biological structures, specifically DNA and RNA, when a single-stranded sequence is equal to its corresponding sequence read backwards.
The chains of sugar and phosphate molecules create a ‘backbone’ strand for a single or double helix. In any one strand, the chemical orientation (directionality) of the chains runs from the 5′-end to the 3′-end (read: 5 prime-end to 3 prime-end)—referring to the five carbon sites on sugar molecules in adjacent nucleotides.
DNA and RNA strands have upstream and downstream terminus defined by differing chemical groups at each end. The ends of each strand are termed the 5’ (phosphate bound to the 5’ position carbon) and 3’ (phosphate bound to the 3’ carbon) ends. Bring these two ends together and we have, not only the hairpin loop (the golden loop) but also the number 88 – and so we have come full circle.
Eighty-eight mph is the speed that the DeLorean must attain in order to travel back in time. There are 88 constellations in the night sky. The word “pit” is mentioned 88 times in the King James Bible. Stand By Me is exactly 88 minutes long. The psychologist Harry Harlow was born on October 31, 1905 and the years between 1905 and 1993 are a total of 88. Harry is the one who kills Boy in Dark Blood, and in Stand By Me, the body of Ray Brower is found off the Back Harlow Road. Bring these two names together and we have the “person” who murdered River Phoenix – Harry Harlow or HH. Neo-Nazi’s use the number 88 as an abbreviation for the Nazi salute Heil Hitler. The letter “H” is eighth in the alphabet, thus, 88 becomes HH. Folks, William Richert was correct in stating that it’s almost as if the devil killed River early Halloween morning. Through the creation of a new book of life (River’s film career) via the kundalini flame, Cain kills Abel as RNA takes on a life of its own. Many scientists link palindromic formation to the conservation of genetic information, and the implication of this takes us all the way back to the serpent’s lie in the Garden of Eden:
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4-5 KJV)
The DeLorean travels back in time at 88 mph, i.e., the conservation of genetic information. Turned on its side, 88 becomes a double infinity sign theoretically stopping the sands of time pouring through the hourglass. By cleaving to itself and forming a double strand, RNA (through the sacred marriage) becomes the devil’s most valuable tool. The Kabalistic Tree of Life is actually the Tree of Good and Evil, and while I am no biochemist, the implication here is that the kundalini golden loop is actually a genetic one that is brought to fruition once the translation process begins. If a stop codon (or nonsense codon) is not encountered, the translation process reads through. Stop codons can be thought of as rekindling the kundalini flame, thereby, wiping out the protein chain (the genetic code) and starting anew. The cauldron bubbles and wipes the slate clean as another fiery serpent rises out of the pit, born again from its own ashes. The sequence is then repeated – rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. Depending on how the new code is written, the human body actually has the potential of poisoning itself, which is exactly how River died.
Aleka’s Attic recorded two songs in which the titles are also palindromes. The lyrics for Senile Felines are posted below (to the best of my understanding as no official lyrics exist). As the song title implies, rekindling the kundalini flame not only wipes the physical slate clean, but also the mental. Though short-lived, amnesia is an apparent side-effect when rekindling the flame and occurs if a person loses consciousness during the ordeal. River’s lyrics paint the picture of a life ruled by the serpent’s seed, or double stranded RNA created via the sacred marriage. The first three lines are in reference to turning back the clock before becoming the hanged-man, and the repeated stanza “gifts were wrapped in coats of small critters, rats, too many litters” is most likely symbolism for the human body. “Small critters” = cells, while “coats” = cell membranes. The reference to “gifts” is a skewed version of the phrase “gift of God” mentioned eight times in the King James Bible. The angelic driver’s gifts (god’s gifts) are, presumably, fame and fortune as “rats” is “star” spelled backwards. With little to no doubt in my mind, I can tell you that Hollywood and the entertainment industry are ruled by the sacred marriage, and most everyone is a victim. Indeed, almost every song, movie, or Hollywood script is in some way about the kundalini flame. The line “too many litters” is most likely a reference to human sacrifice. Toward the end of the song, the line “eel-forming jawline set ready to kill” is a reference to the golden loop, i.e., Hiram Abiff and the Widow’s Son. The use of the word “eel” is symbolic of electricity and the pyramidal neurons in the brain that are hijacked during the sacred marriage, likewise, “P’s” album art also features electric eels.

The song titled Dog god is also a palindrome and is perhaps the most religiously-charged song out of the bunch. Again, while there are no official lyrics for the song, the verses posted below are clear enough to decipher the overall meaning. In fact, the title alone says it all. Through self-cleavage, i.e., palindromic sequencing, RNA is transformed into a virus via the angelic driver, or in this case, the dog god. The song begins with the phrase “the whistle was dog god cross” which conveys a double meaning. By means of the dog god, chromosomes (which resemble X’s or crosses) split apart and form new patterns of life, but the verse also conveys a religious stance. The whistle, or the red flag, was the belief that Jesus is not the Son of God, but rather, the son of the gods. As the entertainment industry is clear proof of the matter, a good majority of those who experience the kundalini flame lose their faith completely. The common belief is that Jesus was just like them, a man who gained fame after experiencing the kundalini flame, thus, the lie that Mary Magdalene was more than just a disciple. While I can’t claim to know River’s religious stance, the lyrics do state quite clearly “my thoughts and religion made a mess” as well as “my faiths and convictions always a test”. It would be difficult to argue the point that River was anything but disgusted with the system in which he found himself. The lyrics also reference Cain and Abel likening Abel (DNA) to being stable and Cain (RNA) as a self-promoter. In short, Dog god is a glimpse into River’s religious struggles in a system where Christianity is looked down upon.

Throughout the years, River did talk about his faith and religion. In an interview from Premiere Magazine in 1988, he was asked if prayer was still important in his life to which he answered, “I was reading some of the Bible this morning and it was about prayer.” The interviewer goes on to observe that River spoke with sophistication about acting yet “un-self-consciously” (their word) peppered his conversation with such sentences as “the devil is so pretty and tempting” and guilelessly used such words as “Antichrist”. In the same interview River is quoted as saying “I want to take the Devil’s bribe and use it for God.”
In a 1991 interview with Interview Magazine, he states, “We [River and Keanu Reeves] know what it’s like to be on the bottom. The Lord Jesus Christ has given us a chance to be on top. So we’re not going to abuse it. We’re going to be very thankful for it and gracious about the luck that we have in our positions.”
The entertainment industry is one ruled by Masonic ideas and beliefs, and Christianity is not highly favored. According to 33rd degree Freemason, Albert Mackey:
“A Christian Mason is not permitted to introduce his own peculiar opinions with regards to Christ’s mediatorial office into the lodge.” (Albert G. Mackey, Lexicon of Freemasonry)
As stated in the above quote, Masonry depicts Jesus Christ as nothing more than a fellow Mason (if they admit he exists at all) whose “medatorial office into the lodge” was perpetuated by the kundalini flame. The below quote is another example of how Freemasons view the Gospel of Jesus Christ:
“Drop the theological barnacles from the religion of Jesus, as taught by Him, and by the Essenes and Gnostics of the first centuries, and it becomes Masonry, Masonry in its purity, derived as it is from the old Hebrew Kaballa as a part of the great universal religion of the remotest antiquity.” (J. D. Buck, Mystic Masonry)
According to J.D. Buck, the “great universal religion” derived from Cabala is one that involves the sacred marriage and the sparking of the kundalini flame. In short, it is a religion based entirely on sexual perversion.
The Flesh and the Spirit
In John chapter 2, the Jews ask Jesus to show them a sign that he is from God, to which Jesus answers, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The next verse is exactly 22 words, and in it, we can see that the temple is symbolic of the human body:
“Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?” (John 2:20 KJV)
Forty and six years, 46, the number of chromosomes in each cell. The Bible even tells us that Jesus (in reference to the above verse) spake of the temple of his body in the next verse, John 2:21. And then we have John 2:22 which states that, after Jesus was risen from the dead three days later, his disciples remembered what he’d said and believed the words which he had spoken:
“When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.” (John 2:22 KJV)
This takes us all the way back to the 22nd chapter in the Bible (Genesis chapter 22) when Abraham offers up Isaac, his only son, as a sacrifice — a picture or foreshadow of Jesus. The number 22 represents the letters of the Word of God and the 22 amino acids which are the building blocks of DNA, but it doesn’t stop there. The Old Testament was written in the Hebrew language, and the Hebrew alphabet consists of 22 letters. The New Testament, on the other hand, was written in Greek. The Greek alphabet consists of 24 letters – 24+22=46, thus, the Bible as The Book of Life. The last verse in the 2nd chapter of The Book of John states that Jesus did not need any man to testify of him “for he knew what was in man.” It is the no good thing inside us, our flesh and blood, and sin. It is found in all of us.
Jesus is a picture of sin in the Bible (2 Corinthians 5:21) who redeemed mankind from the curse of the law and from the curse of our flesh, “for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree” (Galatians 3:13). In the Book of Numbers, the people of Israel are bitten and killed by fiery serpents sent by God as punishment for speaking against Him. Moses is then ordered to make a fiery serpent (which he made of brass) and put it upon a pole. Everyone that was bitten, when they looked upon it, lived. The story foreshadows Jesus on the Cross — a connection that is made in John 3:14.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:” (John 3:14 KJV)
We are cursed by our flesh, and the kundalini flame is the fiery serpent on the pole born out of sin. Just as Jesus was a picture of sin, likewise, we can think of River as a picture of Jesus.
In the above image, Boy confronts Harry who has just told him that “the deepest wounds are self-inflicted.” River’s character holds a wooden pole with a serpent draped over it, and Harry holds a shotgun. As stated before, Harry represents River’s killer – the white rabbit, the new genetic code, the angelic driver and the kundalini flame. Much like Jesus, River can be thought of as sin that was made flesh offered up as a sacrifice Halloween morning. “When lust has conceived it brings forth sin, and sin, when finished, brings death” (James 1:15). The system in which River found himself follows the Bible to a tee, and though Jesus saved mankind from the curse of the law and sin, Satan (posing as the Most High) is doing his best to prove otherwise.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12 KJV)
Through Jesus, we are born again and no longer under the curse of the law. We too, become the sons of God.
“Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:13 KJV)
The above verse contains 22 words symbolizing redemption from our flesh when we are born again as Christians. Flip that upside down and you have the religion of the Freemasons. You have, according to J.D. Buck, “the great universal religion” which involves being born again of the flesh and not of the spirit. This is the entire concept behind the kundalini flame. Though sparked by an angelic being, the kundalini flame is created of the flesh, by the flesh, and for the flesh.
To recap, amino acids play a key role in the storage of nutrients and removal of wastes produced in connection with the metabolism, likewise, the kundalini flame is created from recycling human waste. Amino acids are the building blocks for proteins, proteins are encoded by genes, and genes are packaged together in bundles called chromosomes. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes (for a total of 46), 22 which look the same in both males and females, and the 23rd being the sex determining pair. Chromosomes often take the form of a cross, or an X, and according to Manly P. Hall, “the cross is symbolic of the human body.” This brings us back to the X on River’s belly featured on the Rolling Stone magazine spread. The “X” symbolizing, not only death, but also the new genetic code that arose from the pit of his stomach.
The Belly and New Wine
The kundalini flame that rises out of the belly (sparked by the angelic gene driver) can also be found in the Bible. In fact, it is the curse that God put upon the serpent, and the serpent upon man. After beguiling Eve in the Garden of Eden to eat of the Tree of Good and Evil, God curses the serpent to go upon his belly and eat dust for the rest of his days.
“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:” (Genesis 3:14 KJV)
While the serpent is Satan, the verse also symbolizes the kundalini flame, which is, by all accounts, the serpent’s seed. God formed man from the dust of the ground, thus, dust symbolizes our flesh. The serpent, then, shall eat flesh, or more accurately, amino acids from the belly. In Philippians chapter 3, Paul weeps as he warns his brethren to beware of those “whose God is their belly”. He may as well have been referring to the Freemasons. Combined, the two verses below equal 46 words.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Philippians 3:18-19 KJV
In 1 Corinthians (the 46th book of the Bible) we again see a picture of the kundalini flame in connection with fornication. Proteins for the belly, and the belly for proteins, but the body is not for fornication:
“Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.” (1 Corinthians 6:13 KJV)
In the Book of Job we see a foreshadowing of the New Testament, likewise, a contrast between the old law and the new gospel. Job refers to his belly as wine that has no vent which is symbolism for sin that has no forgiveness. The verse follows with his belly being ready to burst like new bottles. In other words, his vent (mankind’s vent) is the New Testament, the four gospels, and a new body in Christ. The phrase “new bottles” is mentioned four times in the King James Bible.
“Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.” (Job 32:19)
In the three gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke), Jesus gives a parable about old and new wine vs old and new bottles. The term “new wine” is mentioned 22 times in the King James Bible symbolizing flesh and blood. In the New Testament, wine also symbolizes the blood of Christ which was spilled for mankind’s sins. Along with “new bottles”, the phrases “blood of Christ” and “body of Christ” are also mentioned 4 times in the King James Bible. As previously stated, the number four symbolizes spiritual things, i.e., angels, unclean spirits, and most importantly, The Holy Ghost. The parable reads as follows:
“Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” (Matthew 9:17 KJV)
The parable is collectively understood by Christians as the Gospel of Jesus being the new wine, and the new bottles his followers. It symbolizes a spiritual rebirth in the body of Christ, but in context to the kundalini flame it also appears to contain a layered meaning. It also implies that those who have given themselves over to Christ and have rejected the “God of their belly”, must not return to their sins of fornication. Those who have experienced and rejected the serpent’s seed cannot return to their old ways (the old bottles), lest the viper take aim and strike for the last time. This is the very concept behind River’s death. While I can’t say why he would put new wine into an old bottle knowing what the outcome might be, I imagine he was under tremendous pressure and spiritual affliction. Do I personally believe he made it to heaven? Absolutely.
River didn’t die in vain, and whether he knew it or not, his death exposes the biggest esoteric mystery known to mankind since ancient times. It is the lost key to Masonry, that of human regeneration, conjured by sorcerers and brought to life by the serpent himself. River’s downfall was having sex before marriage, a common sin committed by thousands of Christians on a daily basis. Many fans and books have marveled at the anagram of his name, VIPER HEROIN X, but River didn’t die from a heroin overdose. I would think a more fitting anagram would be VIPER HERO IN X.
The Living Water
The signs, news, and light from the spirit world can be thought of as “the water” that presumably predicts the future. Just like the signs that led River down the path to his ultimate “fate”, the spiritual water is both good and evil, i.e., The Holy Spirit vs the unclean spirits. Prophecy comes as a gift by way of The Holy Ghost, likewise, for those living under the rule of a new genetic code, prophecy comes by way of the unclean spirits. But, no matter how much light these sorcerers, spirits, and believers in false gods claim to have, we all see through a glass, darkly.
“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV)
The “prophecy” of River’s death became so only as an afterthought. To say that he was a slave to his fate, destined to die outside of an LA night club is proven false simply by the addition of free will. Having seen the signs, read the news, and deciphered the meaning of his reoccurring childhood dreams, River could have simply walked away, but for whatever reason, he chose not to. How many other supposed prophecies go unfulfilled because of free will? How many do we never actually see face to face?
“Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” (1 Corinthians 13:8-10 KJV)
The word “Waters” occurs in 33 books of the King James Bible. Jesus was 33 when he died on the cross. There are 33 bones in the spinal column, and 33 proteins found in the translation center of a ribosome. Also, a third part of the angels (33.3333333…) shall fall from heaven in the last days. The water, therefore, can be thought of as a book of prophecy, whether DNA or the kundalini’s new genetic code, the water is the writing on the wall. Like the blue car in Stand By Me, the water is the spiritual forecast, but like most false prophets, the weather man often gets it wrong.
In Daniel chapter 5, King Belshazzar literally shook at the knees when a man’s finger’s “wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king’s palace.” Beforehand, the king, his wives, and his concubines were drinking wine and praising the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone. The frightened king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers and soothsayers to decode the writing, but the wise men could not. It was Daniel, a true man of God, who eventually showed him the interpretation. This is the very concept behind true prophets and false prophets. Anyone can write a book, but which one are you willing to believe? Facebook? Hollywood? Pop culture? Which book will manifest itself inside you?
The term “Living Water” is mentioned 3 times in the King James Bible in reference to Jesus. When we think of the number three in context with Christianity, we tend to think of the Trinity. Perhaps the most controversial verse of the King James Bible is 1 John 5:7, which is all but missing in most other translations. The verse states that the three that bear record in heaven (the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost) are one – a verse that contains 22 words.
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7 KJV)
The number 22 translates to the Word of God, a divine disclosure to humans, a revelation, like the 22 chapters in the Book of Revelation; the number symbolizes the Book of God made flesh. It is The Living Water which is the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, the heavenly Godhead as one. The next verse is in contrast to the heavenly Trinity, and refers to the earthly realm (or the earthly version of the Godhead) which is the human spirit, the water (the Bible), and the blood (flesh), in other words, Christians.
“And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” (1 John 5:8 KJV)
The verse contains 23 words, i.e., 23 pairs of chromosomes. Flip this upside down and we get the workings of the Masonic system. We get the culprit behind River’s death. In Stand By Me, the clear part of the planchette points to the number three, 3-strand DNA, the triple helix, or more to the point, the trinity. Like his character from My Own Private Idaho, Mike Waters, we get who is like God — the spirit, the water, and the blood, i.e., the angelic gene driver, the “word” (River’s film career) and the new genetic code. We get the triquetra symbol featured on Marilyn Ferguson’s book The Aquarian Conspiracy which also resembles transfer RNA.
A three-dimensional structure of transfer RNA resembles the triquetra featured on Marilyn Ferguson’s book. Although sometimes used to symbolize the Trinity in Christianity, the triquetra is an ancient Celtic image used by pagans, agnostics and eastern mystics.
Whether they be musicians, writers, or actors and actresses, celebrities fulfill the prophecy encoded in their own works of art – River’s story is absolute proof of this. And just as Jesus Christ fulfilled scripture as The Word made flesh, so too does the serpent fulfill his own prophecy if given the chance.
The Bitter Water
When we look at The Old Testament, we see a picture of sin, of curses and wrath, and of prophecy. We see a picture of fleshy things, adultery, fornication, murder, and the worship of idols. The priests were given special tasks and duties to handle these types of sin, one such being the law of jealousy described in the Book of Numbers. When a woman defiled herself and committed adultery against her husband, she was brought before a priest who performed a ritual before the Lord. The below verse describes that ritual which includes the priest preparing holy water in an earthen vessel. It is exactly 33 words:
“And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:” (Numbers 5:17 KJV)
The ritual is one of purification from the sin of adultery, even from the kundalini curse brought on by infidelity. Indeed, it would appear as though this ritual was the only way to cleanse the body and mind from the awakened serpent’s seed. In the following verse, the priest then sets the woman before the Lord, uncovers her head and “shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse.” The term “bitter water” is mentioned four times in the King James Bible all in the Book of Numbers in reference to the law of jealousies. It is the curse of the sin of fornication purified only by the works of the priests. It is a spiritual curse brought on by the so-called sacred marriage with physical ramifications. The belly swells, the thigh rots, and the woman shall say, “Amen, amen”. The priest then writes the curses in a book and blots them out with the bitter water.
“And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:” (Numbers 5:22-23)
If we look again at Numbers 5:17, a familiar picture comes into view. Holy water is put into an earthen vessel, and dust from the floor is sprinkled into the water – this is the bitter water that blots out the curse, a verse that is 33 words. The priest then writes the curses in a book. Jesus Christ is the earthen vessel filled with Holy Water, the Word that was made flesh in order to blot out the curse of sin. He is the priest who set the woman before the Lord and purified her. We see this played out in John chapter 8 when the Pharisees bring Jesus a woman who was caught in the act of adultery. Jesus stoops down, and with his finger writes on the ground as though he heard them not. He then lifts himself up and says “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” He again stoops down and writes on the ground. Twice he purifies the earthen vessel. Amen, amen. Like the writing on the wall, those who heard it went out one by one leaving the woman unharmed.
The Old Testament is a picture of the curse of sin, and of flesh, purified only by the appointed priests. Jesus is The Word made flesh abolishing the curse of the law, the curse of sin, and the curse of the flesh, making all works, dead works.
“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:13-14 KJV)
In the Old Testament, the high priest had to offer a sin offering not only for the sins of the congregation, but also for himself. This is the concept behind the entertainment industry, River’s death and the kundalini flame. The High Priests continue in their dead works, hidden from those they seek to “purify”, but they are not of God. For those who have or may in the future experience the kundalini flame (a fiery trial to be sure), hold tight to these words:
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38 KJV)
